I was at this match...went out with a sheffield kopite...sue harris....still speak to her now....mrs harris.........remember before this match walking the roads outside their kop...looked quite scary to this 17 yr old......chelsea fans did go into the kop...all i remember after the match is kissing susan as the train left the station
Chelsea were playing in their 2nd colours too. (red shirts, white shorts, green socks) For a period, both teams changed colours if there was a clash in FA Cup games.
Lovely to see. I was only seven when I attended this game (with my dad). We were visiting Sheffield-based relatives for the day.
Looks like Chelsea playing in the red shirts green socks kit. Didn't think that went back as far as this. Was my favourite kit as a kid.
I was there, aged 9, with my Dad.
The commentary is more 30's than 70's 😂😂😂
And for God's sake it's Wednesday NOT Sheffield

Can anybody explain to me why Wednesday were playing in white shirts at home

Osgoods goal
Reminiscent of his '70 Cup Final goal.
