I can see why they recommended these. They are usually sold out everywhere! I have been wanting to get one for a while but most of the time when I wanted to pull the trigger most websites had sold out icons. Hopefully I can get an investor at some point to send me one. Great video as always!
What I like about this YT drone channel is the multiple camera angles and post-production (ie editing) that go into making each video. Quality makes a difference. Thanks
I’m actually really interested in buying one of these two helicopters and I’m truly grateful for this video. You’re a lifesaver. I’ve had a lot of rc helicopters, quadcopters etc growing up and I’ve learned that once you plug the battery you have to put the chopper or quad on a level surface before the light stops blinking. That way it gets well calibrated and won’t stray away while on standby while flying. After watching your video though I think I’ll try both 😅.
Hi Steve....the one that caught my eye was the K123. Seemed like it was a little more stable to fly. The slow motion video sure gave them a realistic look I think. 👍
The gusting wind will cause helicopters to blow like a feather. The both fly nicely when the wind is not super blowing. The K123 is slightly larger in size and uses smaller batteries for the same amount of runtime as the K124.
I'm finding that you need to land the heli before you can change flight modes (AngleAcro) ... my K110S allows you to change it in flight like most other 6G/3D helis
Here am I, back with my regularity of posting comments! (I hope, lol) Now, these two helicopters are the subject for the review.... Ok, both of them look like small-medium sized RC products, which can perform good, no doubt, saw the online rated reviews and most importantly, this video review! So, K124 and K123 are the names... Pretty identical are they, with the details and fuselage there. K124 has 4 propeller blades whereas K123 has 3? Seems quite interesting, not gonna lie, I haven't seen the helicopters with 3 blades just like K123 yet... But there must be more like this one, I assume. Both of them looks durable and the better thing is that they added some spare parts too. K124, the one with 4 propellers sounds a bit less pitched than K123 while flying, to me. Both of them flew well, but according to me, they are more like the beginner's products or collector's choice. I personally like the helicopters of Blade (brand) much more because of their elegant and sharp designs which are one of the most powerful ones. Anyway, these two RC helicopters must be worth buying if they are as fun to use as it is, to see them! Both are of 81 grams which is very less, as compared to most of the other RC vehicles. They also cost less than 200 dollars, even with 4 batteries, charger and Controller! So, they are obviously some cool budget helicopters!
Factking - I sure wish blade would put out some scale fuselage helis like in the past. I get that they’re going after the 3D market but would be nice to see some offerings for the scale guys like myself.
A shame that they stopped making replacement parts for the K124 already. A lot of owners are asking in forums where they can get body shell parts, especially the nose piece which is often the first to break in a crash. But all part sources are sold out of body parts and it seems no more are coming.
you put lots of evert in your videos amd keep up the amazing content. You are byfar one of the best rc related reviewers if ever have seen.im a little in to the hobby and i like flying my mini 2.Keep up the amazinnn content
If by more amps you mean Larger Capacity, then yes no problem. There is a trade off between a larger battery (heavier) and flight time. The increase may be minor or not noticeable.
Morning Steve, Yes they fly really well and they do penetrate even in light wind really good helis check out John Salt on UA-cam he really demonstrates these
These are 6G & 3D collective pitch helicopters. As you saw in the video, must humans would not fly a small helicopter in the wind, however, since these are powerfull enough, I did.
new to this and i just purchased a new Radiomaster TX16S 4in1... . which ELRS module would you recommend . My flying style would be something like Nick Burns does , around the house and backyard .
So for radios like the large TX16S model you need any ELRS module that has the word MICRO in it. I use the ones from BETAFLIGHT. This one here: bit.ly/3O4bL5t
Yes, very low price. If you buy just a helicopter it is under $100 US. If you buy helicopter & remote with batteries, it is slightly over $100 (US). If you are new to BANGGOOD, you have to apply the discount codes I posted at checkout to see the BIG savings.
Great Micros, just lousy Weather, Capi. Parts avil. in US thru Motionrc & im cringing over here ,you holding both by their booms & dangling them with one hand.

2 neat RC Helicopters there Steve
Excellent Video. Nice Helicopters. Thank You.
Good review, just picked one up. Love the small scale helis. Any others that u would recommend? Perhaps a bit smaller for in the house?
Morning Steve ☕

wait i want to see a ten thousand dollar drone review now!
K124 or k123? Which one is better guy?? 🤔
Love the video now we see the cheap and small one please buy and review a big scale rc helicopter
Very skillful, you are. Did you do any setups in the remote? I had a really hard time with control right out of the box. Ty.
No setups, everything is flown right out of the box. Keep in mind that I fly everything in the RC hobby so this heli is simple for me to fly.
awsome captain. i love your reviews.
Thank you

I'd love to see you review the Dji robomaster s1 such a fun kit to build you could do some crazy anti aircraft vids with the gel beads!

Thanks so much!
Awesome review as always. Those are some real nice looking scale helis. Iv started off in 3D once 🚁🔥haha 👍👍👍👍
Can they bind to a Jumper Multiprotocol Transmitter?
I’m not sure. They do seem like they bind to Futuba receivers.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I think that my old Jumper T8SG V2 Plus has also Futaba Protocol
Try flying them in the weee hours of the morning.
this thing drops like a rock, when the battery runs out, without any warning.
am I missing something?
Good review
Thank you!
I have helicopter when i was 10 ❤️
Question on the batteries, can you use a higher amperage battery if it fits in the slot? Won't flight time improve?
If by more amps you mean Larger Capacity, then yes no problem. There is a trade off between a larger battery (heavier) and flight time. The increase may be minor or not noticeable.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 thanks, just curious.
I had loads of the toy type ones ! Chinooks Airwolf etc all rubbish ! No foreword thrust very hard to fly Hope these are better ?

Very interesting! Your due a promotion in rank. Major Drone?
Thank you kindly
Just wondering got k123 starts up won't lift off shows full power on transmitter
Sounds like the blades are not tilting. They only do that when throttle is pushed past half way on a full charge
Thanks Steve I will check it out
That controller looks a lot like the one I have that came with my nine eagles solo pro 125
Probably the same one. They are very common.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 they are slightly different but the screen is 100% the same
Super 🤟🏼🤝😎
You consider that low price. Not even including the remote I think.

Cool
This model are the most beautiful, but it’s not durable.
It is loud
Sounds like your everyday RC helicopter
