    My brother was a professional chef for several years before he passed last month, and your whole vibe is very similar to his. It's nice having someone who can always show you how to cook well for yourself, and I miss that about my brother.

    i love the way you edit your videos, Andy. Lots of cooking videos don't show the 'ugly' or 'hassle' parts of cooking, like peeling the dry skin off of an onion, choosing when to discard ingredients when they are imperfect or just not nice to eat etc. I think these are all very subtle things you show in your videos that make this very realistic in terms of efficiency and what can be achieved in the home kitchen. Props to you and keep up the videos!

    I like that you show your substitutions along the way. So often I find that I don’t have or can’t find exactly what I need for a dish. It’s nice to see you improvising on the fly rather than aiming for absolute perfection. We’re trying to feed our families, not earn Michelin stars!

    I add cucumber to our watermelon salad and crispy prosciutto. Other than that it’s the same. It absolutely amazing with bbq chicken. Love the channel learning a lot.

      @@kristafloral home made fries, gravy and cheese curds. It’s a specific type of cheese that I’m pretty sure was found in Montreal Quebec and it squeaks between your teeth and makes such a difference when it comes to poutine. Shredded cheese is often a substitute but it doesn’t hit the same

      @@viktoriatacan5547 we have cheese curds in some places here in the states. It’s just not everywhere. I’m fortunate to have them where I live. One of these days I’m going to go out on that limb and try to make them myself. My husband was in Canada last week and had some and I was so jealous!!

    *Mitch and match stuff. a year later you Mitched and matched hahaha so grateful for all of you and happy for the success of all your channels. you never stop to make me want food so bad like that and i am not a salad person but you make everything look so good. you've shown us that healthy can taste good and can make you feel the same way and even better after. i really try to learn all your healthy recipes or should i say 'light' ones. and i have been binging your old stuff lately. it's so nice. these are all 10 min salads that i needed. i'm going to make each one. it's watermelon season in the states so i'll get to make all of them whenever i want. thank you.

    Had a watermelon salad with tomatoes at a caribean restaurant once and LOVED it. Spread the love this summer and now everyone knows about it and loves it as much as i do. Never had that before in Germany, but its lovely. Awesome video!

    I love salad expecelly this time of year I live in Arizona where it's over 110 every day for about 2 more minutes then it'll be in the low 80 during the day and cold enough for a blanket at night 🌉

    Watermelon feta and onion amazing salad. Citrus and fennel salad yummy we have that all the time soooooo good. You are a human Madeline yourself 😊.     These look SO good. Watermelon+Feta is one of my absolute favourites. And I have loads of tomatoes to use up, so will 100% do the Burrata salad.

      I Serve it as it is, as the tomato’s aren’t cooked and just blistered they are still cold in the middle.

    I want Danish national dish. Fried pork with parsley sauce and pickled beetroot and boiled potatoes. Beside the whole "Nordic cuisine" i think normal everyday dishes from the north, especially Denmark are overseen. So from a chef from Denmark, i would like to see your take on it, also for a professional point of view. Cheers!

    I grew up eating fresh salads all summer long, even in deep snow i sometimes yearn for some juicy fruit in my salad.
    Excuse my poor vegetable vocabluary
    An all time classic of mine is with thick proper green lettuce, some uncooked red cabbage, apples, whatever seeds and nuts you can find and some sour firm apples.
    Basically my go to early autumn dish

    With the burrata and tomato, how do you eat it? Take a spoon and shovel out some cheese and tomato onto a plate? Over bread? Maybe polenta? You would use a knife and fork, i guess, but would you need a spoon to scoop up the gooey cheese? Great presentation with the last salad, now just show how one digs into the salad? Thank you.
