Great to see you putting out more Contant. I hope all is well. Sorry you had to go through all that BS there are plenty of us out here that just want to keep our minds engaged while we work. And you guys do that for us in a wholesome way.❤
Glad to see you back on UA-cam. I've missed you all. I hope to see some new material soon. I like your concept of KERF. I'll be watching & cheering you on. Blessings abundant always.
I bought the original one designed for the old style skilsaw it was new in the box from 1980s had to buy old saw from pawnshop to use it saw and tool $125 all in. cutting up massive beams for our wrap around deck, priceless. great tool.
Thanks❤ the replies on lubrication answered my concern 😎 This info is, at age 75, for cutting wind downed branches for fuel for my Solo Stove Bonfire ❤ Have battery driven tools, a past Journeyman Electrician 😎
You can Boy saws like this Part from Festool or Maffel . Yes both are much More expansiv but both are a complet Unit, much morr stable and a buy for lifetime
Looked at this but unless you’re a full time shop who needs dedicated tool the idea of extending the capacity of an existing too makes so much sense to me. Especially cordless with all the battery investment. Of course this can be used on a corded tool also and the limits are removed.
Is this tool for short cuts ? I think if was planned to be used like an Alaskan saw mill it would need some kind of oiling system, but I imagine no one will be doing that ......Cool tool for short cuts.
I have some ideas to try this as a mini mill with a guide. Wouldn’t be practical as an Alaskan mill but could be great for love edge or smaller projects.
Lesson Learned here, Keep the device used for a Guide on the Non-waste side of the Cut. Sorry Jessie. That You Tube Finger wave is the Most Annoying thing I see on You Tube. HAHAHAHAH. Mike M.
Well deserved criticism. This was caused by trying to get a good camera angle. It was as awkward as it looks and demonstrates the hazards of doing anything for the camera!
COOL! I would really like to see you do some half-lap cutting on some 4x4's or 6x6's. That alone would be a big seller for that type of tool. Maybe the manufacturer would sponsor you for a video and make the device available to us users with a slight discount too. For a safer cut, I would hold the speed-square down with a speed-clamp so my hands aren't holding it down while also trying to catch the bigger chunks of wood after the cut is finished.
My question regards lubrication of the saw blade/chain. With a standard chainsaw they have a oil tank to provide for constant lubrication to the chain. How is this saw lubricated? I know with a regular chainsaw without oil the bar will wear very quickly and overheat.
Small lubricating hole on the bar for grease. Their trick is the chain moves MUCH SLOWER than a typical chainsaw. It's actually a little too easy to use. Not at all like a chainsaw.

Thank you I am so glad you are back
Thanks for showing us Jesse! 👍😁
Awesome as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
I miss seeing the teamwork when you two work on a project together.
Glad you didn't get hurt when the square decided to make a break for it.😉 Thanks for creating content again. Stay safe. Peace!
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for including that mistake, I'm sure it'll save some people from making the same one.
Neat video. That looks way easier to control than even an electric chainsaw. The square bottom plate on the circular saw really seems to help.
that looks like a great bit of kit!
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
Maybe put the square on the side the blade isn't on...
We just bought one for dropping end cuts on our timber frame projects, lighter than a 16 beam saw, and one cut and done instead of 2 per end.
Bingo! Surprisingly practical tool

Cool! Funny you went the other way. Bought and antique saw to use the gadget. :)
So glad your back, hope all is well....
glad to see you posting again. I was wondering if you might start finishing the Home. Because it looks like it’s not finished yet.
Much work has been done but much of it will documentation will be published on KERFonline.com so join the newsletter if you’d like updates.
I have one Jesse and use it!
keep safe my friends.

Perhaps a jig could make this a decent small wood cutter. Not for large amounts but small wood.
That's an awesome tool. You guys do a great job.
so glad you are posting again, im ready for some fresh build updates.
How is it oiled like on a chain saw?
Small hole on the bar for grease. Chain moves much slower than a chainsaw so way less oil consumption.
Hope those are steel toes!!! That would REALLY hurt if that piece hit your foot))).

Looks great.
Just bought a bandsaw mill. I can see this being a good addition to it.
Prazi sounds like Rhazi.
Spazzi??

Lubrication is my question? All my chainsaws has built in oilers built in the saws. It makes me wonder is this hard on chains without lubricant ???
Small hole on the bar for greasing. Chain moves much slower than a chainsaw. It’s a new experience for sure. Not chainsaw like at all.

Stay tuned. We used this saw a bunch and it’s embarrassing how fast these normally cumbersome tasks are!
For me I'd hold the square on the work piece . I don't think I'd ever go to square off the drop off piece.
Sometimes we do things for the camera and it bites us in the butt. We leave it in the video because it’s real.

Did anybody try to cut boards with this? It could replace a Alaskan sawmill if it worked.
Have a couple ideas to test this concept! I wouldn’t replace an Alaskan mill obviously but a mini mill perhaps!
Nice job .
thats pretty neat i like that
Nice video. That set up sure did cut that beam easily.
Honestly totally not what we expected. Almost too easy.
