Agreed. Season 1 was very good. Season 2 was a little slow but not bad at all. We really got to see Alicent and Rhanerya trying to avoid the war and how all the alliances were made Only thing I didn't like about S02 was Daemon's story.

Many changes for the books that they made this season didn't work and some are even outright bad. The only one that worked for me was helena being a user of old valerian magic and serving a higher purpose than her book counterpart
In fact, this season has been better than the 1st one, which was exemplary itself. 1) HotD doesn't focus on multiple conflicts all over Westeros and Essos but only on one family, 2 if we include the Velaryons. It's not better or worse, just different. 2) while S1 was progressing at a breakneck speed, I missed the slow long conversations that GoT used to have. Idle and exploring characters; HotD S1, they didn't have a character breathe if it didn't serve the story. So S1 was crispy, perfect, not a single ounce of fat on it. But S2 has been much better in that regard. Apart from the high stakes eps, ep3 and 6 felt the most like OG GOT eps...with more relaxed scenes character progressions. 3) for those r concerned about books, LOOK, it's a in-world history book. Dance of Dragons spanning 2 yrs is covered in around 150 pages, even less. Men r deliberately portrayed as more heroic, vicious, no emotional vulnerability, Rhaenyra and Alicent r written as one dimensional characters, as u would expect the old maesters to write history. Do u really want that? The show is giving insight into what actually happened and what didn't get into history books, fleshing out characters, giving them depth and complexities. 4)and finally in S2, they're exploring other smaller and greater houses, and smallfolk. IT'S SO MUCH BETTER. So much better.
It is not GOT its far better then that there are consequences of your action which is way more realistic every charcters grow in this every charcter is a playing a lead in thier story which is i really like in this this is like real life you can't just get what you want you strugle for it And props to actors and directors who displayed marvelous cinema for us we should be greatfull to see such an art of entertainment so unlike those barbaric shows like GOT and The Boys which i dont hate but this is far better then them in terms of production, dialog, charactor and direction.✌✌

I like this season , writers did a wonderful job. They did not write an unnecessary plot line like in GOT. Every character acts according to their current environment and knowledge they have. The season also covers the plight of common men , their beliefs, and the economy of the land. It was not boring if you watch it weekly. But it is not binge worthy which is not an insult.

Many changes for the books that they made this season didn't work and some are even outright bad. The only one that worked for me was helena being a user of old valerian magic and serving a higher purpose than her book counterpart

In fact, this season has been better than the 1st one, which was exemplary itself. 1) HotD doesn't focus on multiple conflicts all over Westeros and Essos but only on one family, 2 if we include the Velaryons. It's not better or worse, just different. 2) while S1 was progressing at a breakneck speed, I missed the slow long conversations that GoT used to have. Idle and exploring characters; HotD S1, they didn't have a character breathe if it didn't serve the story. So S1 was crispy, perfect, not a single ounce of fat on it. But S2 has been much better in that regard. Apart from the high stakes eps, ep3 and 6 felt the most like OG GOT eps...with more relaxed scenes character progressions. 3) for those r concerned about books, LOOK, it's a in-world history book. Dance of Dragons spanning 2 yrs is covered in around 150 pages, even less. Men r deliberately portrayed as more heroic, vicious, no emotional vulnerability, Rhaenyra and Alicent r written as one dimensional characters, as u would expect the old maesters to write history. Do u really want that? The show is giving insight into what actually happened and what didn't get into history books, fleshing out characters, giving them depth and complexities. 4)and finally in S2, they're exploring other smaller and greater houses, and smallfolk. IT'S SO MUCH BETTER. So much better.

I have read the book and trust me if they execute it right s3 will be chaos pure chaos fight btw daemon and aemond would be spectacular and this build up was needed so s2 was not par s1 but needed
I like this season , writers did a wonderful job. They did not write an unnecessary plot line like in GOT. Every character acts according to their current environment and knowledge they have.
The season also covers the plight of common men , their beliefs, and the economy of the land.
It was not boring if you watch it weekly. But it is not binge worthy which is not an insult.

bro if u had watched game of thrones when it was coming out year after year you would not have compared it to this and called it BORING. if u call THIS "all buildup and no payoff" with rhaena getting sheepstealer and all the individual plot points which has been portrayed fantastically (especially the backgrownd score in the finale). rips my trust on reviews like this online. just like you talked about the pros in the 2nd part of your video, all the previous points stand lull. this finale is a very good piece of fantasy TV which stays true to its source material while managing its planned 4-5 seasons of runtime. you only deserve deadpool 3 which only does fan service and frankly is just a cash grab for marvel as they have been flop since endgame (breaking the 4th wall every 2 seconds to keep audience's attention since THEY HAD NOTHING TO SHOW EXCEPT FOR HUGH JACKMAN as wolverine)

In House of Dragons none of the artists studied deeply whereas in Game of Thrones all the characters went deep for their acting, HOD seems to be watching a normal serial, while the acting, the costumes, a lot of things just didn't feel right to me.

I watched GOT season 1 and then started Supernatural S1. Since then, I'm constantly watching Supernatural (other contents, very less). Whole GOT is still left, but I also watched HOD S1 which I'd say, wasn't appropriate as per my taste
