First world country with 3rd world safety issue....
Japan and Singapore subways are ten times cleaner, air-conditioned, and equipped with barriers in front of the tracks, with doors that open only when the train stops. The US, as the wealthiest country in the world, should surely be able to implement similar safety measures!

Just amazes me how Poland emphasizes pedestrians first. It was a nice change to cross the street without worrying about getting ran over. I also think a major difference is how citizens of different countries view themselves. People in Asian, European countries etc may not always agree with their government but for the most part they do listen to the laws and the government where people in the US really emphasize freedom so they feel like they are above the law

People pushing others is more common than you think, that is why you should always stay away from the edge of the platform. Most pushers are opportunistic, meaning they push complete strangers just because they were close to the tracks.

And the dumbest thing about it is that nobody would ever get away with it because of all the video cameras down there. They will be charged with attempted murder/ murder over someone they never seen before smh.
