You and your brother have such a great sibling dynamic! Did NOT expect his hair. I think your painting turned out great!! I loved the little rapids and extra bits of snow bank you added. I think it framed the scene really well, and the rapids give an extra little bit of visual interest. If you're at all interested in acrylic painting for landscapes (and other scenes), there's a YT channel I've been following for many years now (tho I haven't watched in a hot minute) called "Stay Creative Painting with Ryan O'Rourke." He's done tons of beautiful acrylic paintings on his channel, highly detailed, great instruction; I actually started following him for his 10-minute painting tutorials. You might learn how to hone your skills from him! Also, not bad try for your brother's painting! To me it looks like mountains peaking out of a heavy cloudbank, like when you're flying in an airplane and look out the window and all you see is clouds below you :)
Cool tip! Lmao. From someone with a BFA (I actually don't paint with oils due to health issues with my lungs but I did enjoy it when I chanced it for school). Oils and paint thinners come out with dishsoap or wood-floor-soap. So I used to wipe my brushes with a rag that had a little bit of soap on it when I needed a clean brush to do the next part. (Just adding this comment cause of what Executive Confuser said at 12:45.) Also make sure to get the soap out with the same rag or paper towel. Also your paints are different from Bob Ross' because he didn't have the thinners and minerals we do now. Our oils thin much easier due to just how long it's been since Bob painted for us. A tip for doing the trees and not getting as muddy. Try not to dab like you would with acrylics and use darker colours on wet paint than what Bob is using. That's also why you have a more pastel-based palette. I love both of your mountains. Oh god I turned into one of those: People who actually paint posters. It's been like 10 years since I used oil so I could be wrong with these things above. I just am an acrylic and gouache user so I adapted to oils for school. I so agree with the "After this I'll just go back to Warframe" comment about oil painting.
WARFRAME?! Actually, I was about to say I didn't expect Warframe mentioned in the wild, but I'm remembering that you used a Kavat as a reference in a prior video! 😅 Warframe is my favorite game, hope your brother is having fun (and you, if you play)! Your painting is great! Especially since you're not using Bob Ross-quality paint. You handled all the techniques really well!
I really enjoyed the friendly batter between you two and your brothers voice is quite southing 😊 If you try again, get some liquid white as it works a lot better then gesso 😉
I think traditionally Bob uses Liquid White to prime his canvas which does not dry as fast as gesso. He would do 2 coats of a gray gesso, and then use the liquid white on top to make sure he got everything wet. That is why his canvas is always wet and blends so easily, but I still think yall did a really good job at creating your paintings!
Call an executive confuser... *but not for me!* 🔫 This is precious! It's sort of insane to comment on the sibling energy between literal siblings, but this video is wildy wholesome and chaotic in the best way. 💙 Great job on the Ross!
Yknow since this painting is a snowy wonderland type, its kind of like a spiritual successor to the first time you did a bob ross painting on your channel with mspaint
I love how the painting turned out ! Its amazing how brushstrokes can evoke such realistic shapes. It really looks great, I should try doing it some time. Plus me being the winter freak that I am, I just love me some good wintery scenery.
Oh this was chicken soup for my soul it's so cold in the UK right now. Thanks for giving me the comfy vibes. I'm a sicker for white pink and blue and this video has got me really wanting to paint more which will help in my art course atm. Also your brother has a incredible bob Ross impression and the banter was so silly I loved it. Lovely work have a wonderful evening
Gotta work wet and use a bit more oil or what ever medium your using with your paint. Also I think you need a better brush you'd be surprised what a difference a good brush can make.
Sadly due to personally issues- family cat has been missing for over a week- I'm not able to get into the vibe and enjoy this video, maybe it too much starring at their backs. Will give it another try when feeling less depressed

He has a hauntingly accurate impression of Bob Ross
Seriously!
Kira losing her mind and her brother just chilling and doing his own thing is the most relatable sibling dynamic I’ve seen ngl
I can't belive actual real Bob Ross straightened his hair for this.

Bob Ross really fell into that 2000's straight hair trend. Didn't even cut his hair!
The voice of Brother ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
12:41 this is amazing!!!

I love it! I should drag my siblings into painting with me….. lolol
I know I’ve never seen her brother but why is the back of him so accurate of what I thought he would look like
Very pretty 😀

How dare UA-cam hide this from me for 2 minutes
20:08 BRO. WE HAVE THE SAME INITIALS. KIRAS MY NAME TOO AND MY LAST NAME STARTS WITH A
the outfit in the intro tho
Pretty good. Your brother needs a few days to catch up with your work.
No thinner, and if your base is drying too quick, you can use a thin layer of white.
very important question, what's your brothers hair routine
If I had the money to spare I would ask if I could buy your painting, it's so so pretty!!!
Please do it again!
❤😂 siblings in a nutshell ❤😂
