🌞Happy I found your channel. I discovered yo yos a few weeks ago, so I'm still a newcomer to the field. I am amazed at all the possibilities of what you can do with the small pieces of fabric.
I have always called them Suffolk Puffs, originating in the county of Suffolk U.K. it is a lovely farming county, also famous for Newmarket horse racing and the huge U.S. airforce base
Hi Anne, thanks for visiting me here! Yes! Suffolk Puffs! One of my best friends is in East Sussex. My dream to visit her there someday. There is something so magical about the English countryside. oxo
Hi , Just bumped into you while looking at sewing videos. I subscribed as soon as you finished both yo yo's. I love yo yo's and have done them both ways. I too have the yo yo maker. The only difference I see is that you can see the fabric of the yo yo made on in the centers swirl of the fabric. I think that swirl looks lovely and I'm not sure if its because of the design on the fabric or not. I will have to try with a different pattern and see. For now I like the yo yo maker one better because of that. Now to finish watching. So glad I found you. Kathleen.
Hi Linda! Yes! I did think about that. I'm being lazy I think because I have other stitching on the go... I went to buy my quilting thread and the owner at the quilt shop had other ideas than I had. Now, I'm really confused!!!! I walked away from it for a bit to work on my Bring More Flowers Quilt. I hope you'll keep visiting to see these through to the finish. Have a great day! oxo

Would you consider quilting the fabric before attaching the yoyo's? That way you could do the grid first. One idea. Good luck.
