You won't find a graveyard out in the middle of this lovely hike. The origin of its name reaches back to the early 1900s when logging and storms left tree trunks covered in mossy and spruce needles that looked like gravestones. Despite a great fire in 1925 that wiped out the stumps the name stuck to this day. This beautiful hike to upper falls sets in a valley above 5,000 ft elevation and is surrounded by mountains in excess of 6,000 ft.
