- Was surprising as it may be, people DO speedrun creative mode in Minecraft, but not in the way you'd expect. Several limitations are placed on the players, producing a legitimately entertaining speedrun.

You know you say you're doing this without the creative menu but why do I see an enderman spawn egg in your hand when you can only get those from the creative menu
In bedrock edition if a shulker box has an item if you break it in creative mode you get a shulker box.
the fact that the SURVIVAL set seed run is faster than a CREATIVE run is actually insane
But creativ is random seed

Pick block is underlooked? I use it like every minute when playing survival or creative lol
I've been using it since 1.8 when I learned it existed and it's one of the best things in the game. Makes things SOOOO much easier.

@@emilydavidson8844 it doesn't give you the block, if you have the block in your inventory it will move it to the slot you're holding
What does it do, exactly, never heard of it.
I use that tool all the time....
It's best for Building, and it's kinda sad when I do it in survival....
It only moves items from your inventory in survival, not gives new ones

I know this. I was saying, that I build in creative so often that I instinctively do it in survival.

Bro i use that button so much. Not even in creative, but in survival to take blocks from my inventory. This is one of the most useful features of all time.
To all you playing in creative: F3 + F4 tap switches between 2 gamemodes, F3 + F4 menu opens a popup where you can change your gamemode (newer versions only)
This is WAY FASTER than /gamemode

It’s a shame I’m on bedrock where literally none of what you are talking about is implemented… and bedrock is “the standard version” 🙄
@@TomGibson. you can still use pick block in bedrock even on console I use it all the time you just have to set a button for it personally I set it to x

It’s actually interesting that you don’t have to kill the dragon to achieve a speedrun ; technically, exiting the end is the only requirement

You can pick-block a crafting table to use on your adventure

@@patrickriney232 “Creative” inventory is slightly different than “Crafting” inventory. Since creative allows you to pick and pull items out from the list, crafting only allows you to see what you have collected thus far

Pick block creative mode actually sounds like a really fun casual way to play the game. Like having unlimited recourses but you still have to find it first.

Fun fact: Pick Block Also works on survival if you have the block your looking at in your inventory also works if it's in the hotbar too. Its really helpful. Try it out!
When the Survival Speedrun is faster than the Creative one
That’s the set seed run, if they did creative pick block speed run on that seed it would be like 20 seconds faster.

I see a lot of people use pick block including me if your building something in creative like a design for a base and are using a lot of blocks then if you have them already in the build just toss em out and pick block form there when you need it as long as it’s not more then 50 blocks from where your working

This is actually a surprisingly interesting speed run style, I might actually try this myself when I have the chance

oh! i tried a few of these a while back except I never allowed flying. It's always really difficult because it relies on the need for a crafting table.
You can pickblock the table from villages

The fact that I knew how to beat the creative no inventory run before you even said how to actually do it, and I'm not a speedrunner, speaks volumes to how easy it sounds. (Like an easier said than done vibe)
Love this idea. Good luck with your future pulls! I hope you continue this. As an extra challenge you could try to 100% the region exploration and max out the statues before moving on to the next area. Might take quite long tho. But it could be fun to do

Requirement for speedrun is seeing the credits, not killing the dragon. That’s why set seed is so fast.
