Sex isn't gross. Pressure to feed the obsession of your partner is gross. Being a slave to your partner's lust is gross. Having to yield to a partner who lacks emotional intimacy but demands or expects physical intimacy is gross.

Sex is such a double edged sword. It brings immense pleasure but sends more people to hell than anything else. Most people fail to keep it confined to marriage and the results destroy lives and even results in death by murder and disease. For me I have starved sexually for close to 20 years and my sex drive is torture that thankfully has somewhat eased these last few years. An affair is simply not an option. I will not go there. A satisfying sex life is truly a blessing and gift from God but one that I have missed.
Sorry to hear that. A sexless marriage is indeed miserable.

It is torture indeed especially when you do have sex it is great for both partners.
Topstuff Marc. Only 2 people don't have troubles with sex. Dead people and liers. So true and so refreshing to hear. There is nothing worse then a Christian who plays the I got this game about sex. Somebody gave me this UA-cam pastor the first time when I heard him talking ,I thought he’s the best one ,and then when I start to watch more video about him, after I watched more video about his preaching ,I realized how arrogant he is , One day his head gonna blow up !
I think I can understand your point. What I have found really interesting since Trump went into office, is that there are those who appreciate masculinity (lions) and there are others who are put off by it. Not a critique, just an observation. I do feel as though God calls us to be fearless and only to fear HIM. Our society has been taken over be weak men not fulfilling their God given purpose. Perhaps you've heard the famous quip, "Strong men create good times. (Think of the WWII generation). Good times create weak men. (The last few generations).. Weak men create hard times." (Where we are at now).

Makes me laugh that he thinks it’s the guz with the high sex drive all the time. Not at all! Heaps of woman would like their husbands to be more into it
It would be nice to say that you’re right but I can count on my fingers the men I have met that said their wives want more sex than they do. In fact I’ve heard plenty of women say that if they never had sex again they wouldn’t miss it. My sex drive tortures me on a daily basis because my wife falls into that second category. Really, what I wouldn’t give to have a wife that enjoys it as much as I do.
Yeah this is certainly the exception to the rule, not the norm. On AVERAGE men are far more sexually motivated and have much higher sex drives than women. There are exceptions to every rule, but this holds true on a large scale. This makes sense biologically speaking, even though it makes many people uncomfortable, it really doesn't make a difference to the survival of the species if women are interested in sex... as long as men are interested in going out and impregnating women, the human race will continue.
I think if a partner holds up another couple who only has sex once or twice a year as some kind of gold standard, well I think that is a problem. And one that likely won’t be solved easily.
I think it’s gross and neither of your 2 reasons describe me.
Why would you call a gift of God gross?
