As someone who sells Blundstones at a store it amazes me how often people want them the fit like sneakers and want no wiggle room. With this I hope I can convince a few more people to get the right one.
glad to know that half sizes only run wider and not longer, im a womens size 7 but have wide feet, in the u.s. half sizes increase by length, i really want a pair of blundstones and this video was really helpful !
I've got black, rustic brown, and just got the rustic black today. Most comfort boots ever, holding up well in all elements of snow, rain, and mud. Always comfortable right out of the box.
I love mine! Amazon actually helped with US size and once I break them in, they are very comfortable. I’m used to wearing flip flops all year round California 😉
@@druckza They showed the rustic brown right before the part where they talk about fitting the boot, so you may think that it's the same boot, but it's just a different segment of the video. Also, look closely at the leather and elastic goring, the rustic brown has a mottled look with brown goring, while the antique brown is a uniform brown (almost suede feel to it) with a black goring. I have the antique brown 1609 and it looks exactly the same as the one that the model is wearing when the narrator is talking about recommendation and kicking the toes to the front of the boot, etc. The camera cuts back to the narrator and he's holding the rustic brown - you should be able to see the differences then. Personally speaking, I think the rustic brown isn't nearly as nice as the antique brown or steel grey or other ones where the leather is noticeably different in grain and texture. Also as a side note, I have held the Mexico and Vietnam made boots side by side and the ones made in Mexico have slightly inferior leather and noticeably inferior TPU / PU that is too shiny and not the classic matte black like the ones from Vietnam. Thus, when I look for new Blundstone boots for myself or for family, I always get the ones made in Vietnam.
I always wanted a pair of blundstones , I almost ordered a pair online I take a size 13 us canada , I found a store that sells them finally , and I almost got a pair I waitress until the next day to go back and get a worker at the store to help me she said size 13 is a orderd size , and then she told me the sizes I went down to a 11. and they were too big with me putting 3 fingers down the back , then I went to size 10.5 it was same width but I only could get one finger comfortably down the back of the heal and perfect width I am breaking them in now and when I do I will go back and get the sheepskin liner for winter here in Newfoundland as it gets cold , I went with the rustic brown Steele toe. As I could wear at work and always got protection when needed. So thankful I never orders a 13 on line and I went into the store to get fitted I am so happy with my purchase, my friend has got the same pair of stones from 20 years since arriving in Canada and with wear they keep looking better and better he treats his boots once a year with product , I hope I have these a life time and I say I will
I would suggest using extreme caution before purchasing Blundstone boots. I purchased the 1469’s last week (01/04/24) and when they arrived this week. The left boot was larger than the right boot. I sent in a help request (because there is no phone number on their website, that I can find) with a video proving the left boot was larger than the right (too big for me) and have heard nothing. I have been a long time Blundstone customer, own several pair of Blundstones and admit they are comfortable (if you have a correct fit) but if it has come to this style of poor customer service I will not be purchasing or recommending any more Blundstone boots. It is a disgrace that one has to pay so much for a pair of boots and cannot speak or communicate with anyone from Blundstone when their product is a fail. Buyer be aware!!

I’m a US 8.5D on the Brannock device. I tried on AUS 7 and although my toes aren’t hitting the front, I would like just a little more length. I’m about 3/4 thumbs width, a full thumbs width would work. Like I said my toes aren’t hitting the front though and I’m conscious of being closer than though. Obviously the AUS 7.5 wasn’t good because my feet were swimming in them as the length didn’t change but the width.
If you would like more length adding a full size up would do this, another option is to switch to a different style. The dress series boots fit differently than a classics for example. Same boat. I have 3 pairs, size 4, 4.5, and 5. The 5s are a little too roomy so I’ve put Sherpa inserts in and they’re great but for the summer I want a closer fitting blundstone so I can wear thin socks. The 4 and 4.5 are an okay fit but i probably have just a half inch of space on my left foot and slightly less in the right 😭
Returned the first pair and then sized up a half size due to my high instep (I'm also prone to the "pump bump"). No longer tight around the top of my foot and and ankle. Now I wonder if I should have kept that first pair and given them a chance to stretch...
