I've only just started and have loads to do in the game. Loving every minute of it. That's all down to you and your videos by the way. Wouldn't ha e touched the game if it wasn't for you. I hope their not done with this game and keep updating and adding more. Keep doing what your doing 😁
Thanks mate, great feedback for me 😀. I hope it’s not done too, the discord is pretty quiet though. However, there are hours and hours of playtime in this game. I’m still going and I’ve played since release day in September
Thanks TinTin for the update! Always nice to see patches being released for this gem. I'm almost the same as you, I took a week-long break while I prepare for a job interview, but I'm going to get back in it since it's relaxing to play on my downtime. I'm glad they fixed the saved game load bug after a derail, though I don't derail anymore after learning to control speed (with exception of the construction area near Brussels, you handled that well!). Good point about the upgrades to locos...some of them are worse than what you currently have, so you need to pay attention to the comparison stats. Also, what I found early on with the starter loco I had to just couple less cars as a full dozen was too much for some inclines, especially when they warn of an approaching train just before you take a run for the hill. I still love playing, the company aspect and the large map, the stunning visuals, the small details like jet contrails in the morning sky and the genuine immersion will keep me coming back for more. Eventually I want to unlock all cities and go as far as I can go. Cheers, brian
Just thought I'd add why I purchased this game, it's a bit of a strange reason at first but I had to commute to Copenhagen (about 110 km each way) on the inter-city train every day for a few weeks in January. I was very impressed by the modern trains and how efficient the transport system is in Denmark. I thought I'd hate it but as the days went on I realized I loved travelling by train, it's relaxing, I can get work done on my laptop or just look out the window, and I don't have to worry about driving. Now I actually find myself missing the daily train trips! lol So when I saw this game on Steam I knew I had to try it. Normally I'm a flight sim guy but trains are starting to grow on me. I would have had a hard time figuring out all the little tips and tricks without videos like yours. The Info they provide on the official site is pretty minimal.
If anything, I would love to see an increase of the "incomming train" event as it bring a bit more life in. But it would be better if the actual locomotives would be random and not just the small diesel loc.
Great the matrix effect has been sorted but information regarding Train Life has been very quiet since December 2022. Lack of live streams, I understand a weekly stream is too much as there maybe no up to date information and questions are sometimes repeated or lack of questions. Just seems a forgotten game at the moment 😔
On a discount yes I would definitely go for it. There’s some issues as there are with all games these days but nothing that will prevent you playing it
Just got this for my PS4 and it's pretty obvious it has never been tested on a PS4 by the developers. I have had 4 crashes to the blue screen of death in 2 days, I've seen the track ahead disappear several times and bring my train to an abrupt stop, I've seen catenary poles and bridge supports stuck in the middle of the track and after going to every main station on the map the world map has now ground to a halt and it's practically unuseable. I'm just glad I only paid £12.49 for this!
No I think they have pretty much said that for this game there will be nothing new added. That’s not to say though that they may even create a Train Life 2 at some point. Not sure
Yeah have been playing TSW for a few years and I’m also a DTG Ambassador. Have a look on the channel page, I think it’s my most covered game. Both games do something different. Trainlife is more arcade based and has a company management side but if you want a pure driving experience then TSW is what you need. I like both for those reasons but it’s down to personal preference

@@TinTin_57question is there any news in regards to the game getting any future updates?
@@ifabianxd1338 no mate I believe that it’s all done now and they moved to their next game which is a real shame

That’s a good story mate. Yes, trains are pretty relaxing to play especially if you have this and TSW3

Since the new patch I can see the graphics at better
This is a good game. Just need a better outside camera so we can enjoy the beautiful landscape!!!!
Yeah absolutely agree regarding the camera. Would be great to see a bit more out of the cab
So gald the rain on windshield bug is gone
The matrix effect is finally gone. Time to start playing this methinks. Thanks for the heads up, mate.
Train Life is looking good, thanks TinTin for the gameplay and the details.
No problem 👍

Plz suggest if this game is good for PS4 now? Its on discount on store and as PS4 is "old" gen is this good optimized for it??
