This was a surprise, yet a very welcome one to be sure.
I THOUGHT I recognized that beard, Sean! How talented you are -- and what an excellent, eclectic group is Skye Consort.
As a swede I approve of this masterpiece. 10/10 dalahästar 🐎
Både du och jag
I knew those 3 years of Swedish would be useful down the road.
Can you share a little of what the song is about please? I don't know any Swedish.
@@Kelly_Grey it's basically a song about a couple dancing on a night out and who danced the worst/best (title of the song "Was it you or was it me?" directly translated). She also continues singing in the vers/bridge "Vi super och rumlar, vi dansar och vi tumlar. Så kom min vackra gosse, gå i dansen med mig" which talks about how they are drinking heavily and living the best life. But also how they are dancing and falling over (due to the vast amount of alcohol I would presume). That's kind of they whole story in the song
@@kristianl2805 thanks! It's such a beautiful melody, I never would have guessed it was about that haha

It’s called nyckelharpa (‘keyed harp’ or keyed fiddle in English).
