You can combine 3 herbs so *please* use the blue herbs. A G+R+B mixture will heal you, cure you, and boost defense, so keep one in your inventory for when you have to heal and think you will be attacked more afterwards. Also using grenades and such as defense items lessens the damage and range than throwing it normally.
Yeah I told them closer to the end in their 9th video but I guess they didn't see. I'm surprised they survived without making any acid rounds or without ever combining all three herbs.
Fun fact: Matilda comes from the Girl named Matilda in the Movie The Professional. Jean Reno's character is named Leon. The name "Matilda" refers to the film The Professional, since the gun and the "Professional" difficulty setting are unlocked together. In the film, a hitman named Léon shelters a young girl, Mathilda, after her family is murdered by corrupt DEA agents.
"But I used the green herb on Claire, and it restored to full health!" Yes, but you just got bit by the surprise zombie slumped against the wall in the west office, remember?
Exciting! Yeah, 2nd run is supposed to be what happens to the character you didn't select first, but it still isn't going to mesh. Hence, the puzzles are unsolved and with different solutions. You get an exclusive boss though!
You should have combined the battery and the pack to free up room for the first aid spray instead of getting rid of the board. You need to be more savy in 2nd run its harder
One last tip. If you have a weapon drawn, gun or knife, & you're walking, that will be the quietest you can be. No footstep sound. You can sneak by some enemies or surprise some enemies. Helpful technique.
Some things are different, like codes or where certain key items are, but a lot of things are the same. So your memory will help you generally navigate but it is still worth re-reading everything, etc. Also see the other comments about combining all herb types - G + R + B = full heal + temporary endurance boost.
Oh and the ammo you find lying around will only be for the .45; Matilda ammo is harder to find or you can only get by combining gunpowder. However combining different gunpowder types is generally better i.e. for more shotgun shells - when you get the shotgun it will one-hit explode a zombie's head at close range and do a lot of damage up close to enemies like lickers. The shotgun is Leon's grenade launcher equivalent. It requires closer range to be most effective but the ammo is more prevalent.
Ladies, I'm enjoying your struggles in R. C. Been there, done that. You've received some good tips, here's my 2 cents. Work on accuracy at range when shooting. Watch the zombies movement & anticipate where they will be. Time it & blast them in the face. When you get too close & they don't die quickly, you get bitten, too much, then you end up using more health items & defense weapons. Pop caps in their domes & use a knife when they're down to finish them. Start on the legs first, they can grab your ankles if you get in front of them. Legs, back, then head. It helps. Retreat before they give you hickies, then aim & kill. You need to kill more zombies DEAD-DEAD so they don't continue to bother you. Permanent dead are harmless & the halls become safer after. Also, board-up those 1st. fl. windows, especially in the west & north halls. Less zombies means more ammo. & health. Do Not Discard Useful Items ! Full inventory ? Go to the item box, unload & come back. This becomes easier when your aim is sharp, zombies are DEAD-DEAD & you know your way around. Inspect your map for goodies. Red is in need of attention, so do drop in & search until blue is true. Stay alive & remember, you don't have x-ray vision. Be careful going through doors & entering new areas. Trouble has a tendency to reappear, so, PROTECT YOUR NECK !
Lickers will not react to you at all as long as you walk as slowly as possible and don't touch them. Failing that a flash grenade will stun them long enough for you to get out of dodge. Try to avoid using flash and regular grenades as defensive weapons if you can - they are much more effective and have a larger blast radius when thrown!
Take a deep breath and calm down. You're running around a lot because you already know the place, but you're missing things in the process. Don't worry, you're not as lost as you were the first time. Remember that there's a First Aid kit in the bathroom, which if I remember correctly you didn't even get from Claire. Files that you haven't read yet would be in places where Claire can't go, and of course the messages that Claire left, although I don't think you ever read the File with Claire at the end of the dead-end corridor near where they used the C4. unfortunately in the second scenario, it makes it seem like the character from the first scenario did absolutely nothing useful.
Glad to see you guys are playing Leon now, I hope you enjoy it :D Not sure if it's a bug or you turned something down, but there's no sound when you save the game or pick up new items. It's nothing too bad but you may want to look into that. The second scenarios are tricky at the beginning, you feel confident because you've already been through here, but the slight changes make them harder if you're not careful.
You girls, Green Herb + Red Herb + Blue Herb are the best healing item. If you combine 3 herbs, you will have full healing + greatly reduced damage from enemies + detoxification. When you eat the combination of 3 herbs, a green mark will appear on the lower right. While it is there, you will greatly reduce damage from enemies. The combination of red herbs and blue herbs doesn't have a healing function, but it does detoxify and reduce damage a lot, so it's a good idea to use the combination of the two in an emergency. Be sure to remember. And you will know that the pistol's ammo is .45ACP instead of 9mm, and you will know by now that you use a different pistol, not the Matilda pistol. And make good use of the shotgun. Even though it's a little scary, if you get close to a zombie and shoot the shotgun at its head, its head will explode. You can kill a zombie with one shot. When combining gun powder, I hope you make shotgun ammo with Normal + White.
Even more screams this time around I'm betting 😂 2nd run is a little bit more hectic 😂 you do get a new storyline. They changed the puzzle codes and new enemy placements also all of the major items you need have also been shuffled around. So remembering where stuff is isnt going to help you. Just walk dont run look in every nook and cranny . Just wait you will see. Enjoy mr. X all over again 😂
Playing Leon scenario A is fun, but it makes so much LESS sense when it comes to the already convoluted plot. Claire scenario A followed by Leon scenario B is the closest to a canonical Resident Evil 2 storyline as it gets! So you guys actually lucked out choosing Claire scenario A first!
I realize like you lady's, never take in consideration de tips to many people give you in the run with Claire and that tips may help you in Leon's run..... COMBINE, COMBINEEEE!!!! THE 3 HERBS, DON'T MAKE TO MUCH GUN AMMO, MAKE MORE SHOTGUN AMMO (YELLOW AND REGULAR POWDER) USEEEE YOU MAP (BLUE COMPLETE, RED INCOMPLETE), AND MY LAST TIP, LEAVE THE MATILDA GUN IN THE BOX YOU ARE NOT GONNA FIND BULLETS FOR THAT GUN.... Good Luck!!!
Tilted player is so toxic. Starts taking out on the game instead of just taking a breather and plan. You're supposed to be better after the Claire playthrough, not be toxic.
This was horrible bad. From start to end so many mistakes that were unnecessary. The fact that you have no healing is only due to your mistakes and happens because you think you have to run through. That was no fun at all
😅😅😅😅😅😅 what you get mad? He's right this was absolutely horrible. They looks like never play the first round. Sorry but I always enjoy what this girls, but this episode piss me off so bad 😅😅😅😅@redted12345

LOL, I'm surprised no one talked about it when they had their Claire run.
@@jhp9803of course we do. I get tired to give them tips and in every episode they still fucking messed up😅😅😅😅

Really good game
The "LEON" scream at the start of this video gave me life. That is the energy to go into a story with Leon.

Yeah, I was hoping the remake would do a better job meshing the scenarios together, but they steered into the skid and kept going lol

In the original, there was a "zapping system" where what one did affected the other. I don't know why they took it out for the remake.

Thanks for the tip about the sounds. Not sure what could've caused that but I'll look out for it when editing the next episode. -K
