I love my baby's first albums. I even went back and finished up retrospectively to include all of my babies!!! Thank you! I hope you have a blast with your album this year!
Thank you! I only did one additional album each year until I was caught up. I always participate in the December daily prep days, and I usually purchase the product play class as well. I almost always end up with extra foundation pages or ideas or EASY foundation pages that are simple to duplicate. I also have my "go to" spreads that I scattered throughout them (IE: a 3x4 photo on a 6x8 vellum page with journaling somewhere either in a pocket made out of the photo or directly on the photo). For photos, I relied heavily on my collect app which has a small caption and one photo a day. These were foundation of my albums. In fact, I got to the point that I printed all my December collect app cards at 6x8 to include directly into my albums for ease. I also ONLY chose 1-2 photos for each day. Some required more (like on the 24th and 25th). The journaling is easy. Just write what you remember or what you would tell and friend or family member about the photo you chose! So, the simple answer, is the two years that I worked on simultaneously ended up with similar spreads. However, the "current" year was my primary focus and was definitely more interactive than the past years. Please check out my 2017 staring point video to see my general set up for catching up on albums. I will film more of my past December Daily Albums to share in the future
I didn't forget about you! I have a long answer to this question, but I have lost my original source for the information. It was actually a physical die cut that I saw someone else using on youtube. I just took a digital large paper die cut from Ali Edwards December Daily kit and designed my own flip up. I will add a link to the die below.
So beautiful. This is my first December daily this year. This will be my baby’s first Christmas. I am so excited. I love the interactive page!!

Beautiful! What font did you use for the journaling for Day 7?
Thank you! It is an app called WordSwag that I used and the font within the app is Cherry Bloom. I hope that helps!
Was your interactive part on day 25 a cut file for Silhouette or something you created?
