    Dude, never change your style of fishing or video's. They are soo! entertaining. cracka fish from that little skiff. Perfect combo. Just wish your lures didn't sell out so quickly quickly. Stoked for you.

    Mate if you get some time at some stage wont you give us a quick rundown on your boat? its really awesome for the type of fishing you are doing in these vids and Im assuming its custom?

    Jew on the incoming tide retrieving against the current? what can't this man do. Sick vid man as usual. I'm froffing about my next trip to the system in a few weeks. You're getting real confident and smooth in front of the camera 👍. Looking forward to the big upcoming drop. I reckon the sharks recognise the sound of your boat, knowing a feed will come soon haha. Keep these vids coming ya legend.

      Thanks mate really appreciate that! Not really against the tide, I will normally do a diagonal back cast when drifting and drift with/onto where I cast, I plan on doing a drone video trying to explain it because it’s a really good way of searching water on bigger tides

    only Mr Holt would still be wearing shorts in autumn while its 9 degrees in the mornings here haha love your work mate, been smashing the flatties on the swim crabs but struggling with last second bite offs on the bigger models so that restock can't come quickly enough hey. just wondering if you have a preference between minn kota and motorguide seeing that the electric is a massive part of your fishing I'm sure you've got ample experience, I'm only just looking at some options now cheers
    ps its about time local council get into putting some sort of deterrent or relocation system for those sharks now that they've learnt that a free feed is easier than ever with people using light tackle

    I love how you put the lure back in the Flatties mouth after landing for the camera shot lol. I think you need a pro to net some of those sharks to thin em out a bit.

    Bloody sharks aye I recon even if you manage to get a jewy or any big or small fish up before they can eat it by the time you put that fish back the fish will be a bit tired and the sharks would just eat it, do you recon that would happen?

    • @holtproductionsfish
      @holtproductionsfish  Рік тому +3

      It definitely could be an issue, I will normally keep an eye on the sounder as I release them, it feels like once you land the fish the sharks move on fairly quickly, but yes I think that could be an issue and I always do my best to make sure the sharks aren’t on the sounder when I release them, I also use to tag a lot of fish and have had a few re captured so that’s always good to see

    Fish heavy and stop feeding the sharks

    • @holtproductionsfish
      @holtproductionsfish  Рік тому

      Have definitely stepped the gear up and it didn’t stop, also the problem of it being such a pressured system you stop getting bites on super heavy leaders, even on the lighter gear we always push it, sharks have just been extra savage this season. Just moved onto different species until it calms down
