Great work Phil. My plumb Bob is an old oval shaped fishing weight and like yourself haven't used it for yonks. The laser is an absolute game changer.
I bought one of those super fresco trimmers from Wilkos a few years ago as they were by the checkouts and thought for a fiver it'd be a laugh to try it. I was laughing on the other side of my face! I changed the blade in there for an Olfa black and now use it semi regularly. Nice bit of kit and well thought out. 👍
Great video again Phil, well done
Thanks Phil, this dinosaur is about to buy a laser level... only because my 6ft spirit level is used more for non paper hanging jobs. Great tip with the straight edges, I need some shorter ones, my 2ft straight edge is great but crap along coving
Phil still got & use every job my beeline blue handle shears, had them well over 20 years & still razor sharp, look after them they'll last a life time.
Use a Hamiltons hanging brush, only ever had 2 & still brilliant, although use more spatula these days but I too go over with the brush. My straight edge is same as your smaller 1, again over 20 years of use & still straight, it has had a few chunks of flesh over the years though.
Awesome video thank you great work
Glad you enjoyed it
Got the metal bee line paste table I will cry like a baby if it ever gives up , I’ve had it over 25 years hoping for another 20 that’s me done 😁🤞🏻🤞🏻
Had a lazer level for about 4-5 years and it's a game changer. Good video Phil 👍👍
Great video mate, very thorough.
I use a lovely brass barrel seam roller. Nice weight to it and makes an excellent cosh for non payers 😂 I have an old lily brush, worn down and perfect for lining. Switched to synthetic for papers
Hi Phil, what make of pasting table do you find the best,
You’re supposed to be on holiday 🤦♂️🏖🏝🍹
Came back to do the vids

Hi Andy, how have you found the synthetic brushes? I've literally just bought one the other day and have a papering job week after next. To be honest I bought it because it just looked so well made and had a lovely weight to it. Not sure if it can be as good as bristle?
@@AspireDecorating I’ve got an Axus one and it’s ok to be honest. Not sure about the longevity of it because I’ve only used it on a few jobs. Cleans up ok with a little soapy water. The only difference I noted compared to my old lily one is the bristles are shorter.
@@Monkeyman15687 Cheers Andy. I think mine is an Axus too. It's kind of gathered into 5 rings of bristles and is probably a gimic but it did feel lovely when I picked it up. I'll let you know how it goes! 👍
Hi pal I’m a sucker for a new toy do the brass seam rollers leave any marks on the paper believe it or not I saw one for the first time last week £7 quid from paint well
@@TheSmithyt I haven’t noticed any marks. It’s heavy enough that you don’t have to apply that much pressure anyway. Mine came from PaintWell and it’s good gear.
