Head gasket is definitely a goner!! Once your car overheats like that and white smoke comes out the tail pipe the car is done for! Unless you wanna pay 2k to get it’s fixed or even more depending on the whip!
Next time temps climb, just try gunning it with the heater on, used to have this issue all the time with my RSX and putting the heater on helped me get to where I needed to be without overheating

if the needle hits the max on the temperature just put the hot air on max and lower your windows. it’ll go down
invest either in a new battery or your own jump box cuz using his car to jump it will not be reliable everytime and it won’t last very long. sometimes things could also just be a bit jammed so if u mess around with the gear for a bit and keep shifting it while trying to turn on the car it could potentially work.
Im pretty sure all car insurance companies have the option to add a certain number of tows per year. I have nationwide and my wife and myself both have 2 tows per year.

The car not starting on is cause the alternator is bad. Doesn’t keep your battery charged up so it drains and doesn’t turn on🫵🏽🐸

Dog, for future reference, you don't even need AAA yourself, you just need a homie who has it to be there with you. AAA covers the person, not the car. All of this could've been avoided if you just brought your homie with AAA with you off the rip haha
Also, REALLY bad idea to just keep gunning it when the car is overheating and smoking like that. If your temp gauge starts rising start blasting the heater; the heater is air from the engine area and funneling more of that hot air out can help make it last a little longer. Temp/weather outside has nothing to do with if the engine is gonna run hot or not, my Subaru overheated in a snow storm. But redlining it for that long is a guaranteed way of starting more issues that wouldn't there beforehand and furthering the ones that were there. Live and learn tho, hope you don't have to do this shit with another car any time soon haha
