      Yes, but it is easier to deal with screws

      @@JOE_JET_DIY I’m 175 pounds and I get by on 3 per side I know it’s never been tested but the weight rating on the good screws is a lot I think even 1-2 per side should hold a grown man but the safer the better since they can’t all be in a stud

    If you screw those screws straight in, is the rafter or truss wide enough so they all go in to the truss completely?

      At the very top yes, you screw them into the ridge board. Below that it's a little more difficult.
      In fact, 2 screws are able to hold you steady. However, the manufacturer in the manual recommends doing it as in the video.

      @@JOE_JET_DIY Ok, thank you. It should make sense to me after I get the ridge vent off. I'm using the HitchClips and D minus anchors so they are not as wide as the anchor used in your video.
