Texas was affordable, until everyone found out it is affordable. Be careful what you wish for😮
Good point!!
The good point though is you don't have to wait for outsiders to show up for the crime rate to increase, it's already out of control in New Mexico.
You can’t stop people from finding out about it. All this information was already online for years.
@jordivarela7160 did my comment say anything about stopping anyone from finding out? I'm just stating a fact. I was born and raised in Houston . Reread the comment
you're not wrong @@BillySBC
It got nice lawyer and chemist teacher

I agree on everything except the food ! New York wins Spanish dishes hands down Dominican Puerto Rican Mexican !!!
I lived in Santa Fe for a long time because it had a romantic reputation and I sell art for a living. But it was always expensive and it ended up getting **extremely** expensive. I bought a condo in Albuquerque for $125,000 cash - money that I had saved up to make just a downpayment on a house in Santa Fe - and it’s a beautiful one bedroom in a nice neighborhood. I was expecting to just feel OK about the city but I love it here. It’s weirdly charming, spread out, and full of really friendly people and **amazing** food. It’s a total sleeper for sure. People don’t get it unless they hang out here for a while.
Hi @JeffreyGillespie that's awesome and it's great that everything works out well for you! By the way, what are your favorite places in the city?
I lived in Albuquerque for 2 years until I bought land near Santa Rosa. Very peaceful vibe in the rural areas of New Mexico. Definitely recommend visiting the outskirts of the major cities in the state.
Santa Rosa area is great! There are so many opportunities for small town mountain living outside ABQ!
😅😂😅geez guy whos paying you😅
That's what I said. Lol 😂I just saw a house on the west side sell for over 350k. Totally trashed out. Not livable! I guess it's affordable to someone who sold a garage size condo in LA for a million, it's cheaper! But wait until these people from Cali start paying our legislators to change it up to fit the needs of themselves and wreck what's already broken. Lol cheers
Times are changing! @@michaelcordova8432
Also left out the fact that burque is one of the most dangerous cities in America lol
Where would you rather live tho?
@@AllAboutABQ you’re right. Love and hate this city.
It's only dangerous in the bad parts like any other city
I'll stay on the East Coast. I was never crazy about jumping from the frying pan into the fire.
NYC?
I would recommend ABQ as a destination but I would also advise people to be aware that ABQ drivers are about the worst you will ever find in all of America. I have driven in many places and cities and of all of them, I find that ABQ is the absolute worst. Worse than LA, worse than New York or Boston. Turning left across six lanes of traffic from the right hand lane is common.
Brian, it's the Wild West afterall!
I also thought LA and SF drivers were bad…but ABQ drivers run red lights like it’s a game out there, never seen it worse.
@@Robin-cw5zu truth
“If you don’t like the way I drive, get off the sidewalk.”
___ city has the worst drivers in the country! Practically a trope at this point.
Always people from out of state, talking like this if you’re actually from here, you know the real struggle and all the people from out of town or just spiking up prices for us
Growth is good for ABQ. We've been slow to adapt to change and its why we have our charm. But economically we need fresh $ and outside perspective to drive change and make our city the best it can be.
I've heard mixed things about Albuquerque. Some say it's rough, and others say it's a good place to live.
We are on the side of loving ABQ! Have you spent much time here previously?
@AllAboutABQ I haven't been to Albuquerque, but I have been in southern New Mexico. Last time I was there with my dad in the 90s.
US News and World Report rates New Mexico 49th of the 50 states for quality of life. New Mexico schools rate 50. In case you don’t know, that’s not good.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. 👍
More affordable for out-of-towners that’s why the market is so crazy for locals
Its good tho...brings fresh money and ideas to our city.
We don’t want outsiders leave if u not from here
we fear change but its good for our economy locally!
I'm leaving the Albuquerque area after almost three God forsaken years!! Never been more excited to leave that horrible place!!! You can keep it 😂. This outsider don't want what you have
Yeah go back to eating your unseasoned chicken and gravy
Abq is cool until cost of living went up 3x more homeless ppl everywhere you go...
You're not wrong! Value continue to rise along with our unhoused population!
@@AllAboutABQ your so right and I love it when I got here but unfortunately I have to go now
This place sucks ass, nice public access.
Haha, thanks
I’m moving to ABQ from Vegas at the end of May. Pretty excited!
Kyle that's awesome! What brings you to town??
@@AllAboutABQ Work! Got in with Blue Halo.
I’m looking forward to checking out ABQ. I’ve been hearing/reading about the food and breweries. Vegas has some pretty bomb food and places to drink so the bar is pretty high 😂
@@soggymanturtle That's dope! Congrats, Man! Yeah, I'd say Vegas has a reputation which is tough to match!
Excited until someone tries to steal your vehicle. wants to fight you, or the police act silly with you. Let's see how excited then.
born and raised in abq. im very sorry for your loss lol be ready to have done everything within the entire state in a couple weeks
😂😂😂
Truth or nah?
Nah stay out or get your door kicked in….we be looking for outsider plates
Where's the love!?!
@@AllAboutABQnot here ✌️
We don’t want your gentrification.
But why tho?? We have so much potential
The City of Albuquerque grows on you like cancer.
That's not true
Albuquerque sucks!!! Crime is unbelievable. Drivers are unbelievable. And the teenagers are carrying guns and killing innocent people. This democratic state is disgusting
Wait, tell us more! What part of town are you in??
@@AllAboutABQ the west side coors and central
@@user-yk5vk8rj9g Yes, my this is good information. Thanks
@@AllAboutABQ Dude! With all due respect, are you serious? Are you not watching the news? ABQ is crime-ridden and the homeless overtaking the streets. Downtown ABQ (in places) looks like a walking zombie zone. Thirteen-year-olds are shooting other people. Armed guards are at many of the local stores--drug stores and Walmarts. Hell, down the hill from where Rio Rancho has crime issues. My first week living here I went into Kolhs and several people were cleaning the store out in broad daylight. Adequate access to healthcare in this state is not good. My spouse has lost 4 doctors in the last year and a half of living here due to them leaving the state. Yes, ABQ is a beautiful place as is New Mexico. The food is awesome. Many people are friendly. But, let's stop with putting polish on the turd. ABQ is well behind times compared to other cities its size city is in trouble and is currently dysfunctional.
I was called by God to serve him in Albuquerque New Mexico, left my beautiful island of Samoa, I love it here, I don't like crowded cities.
Welcome!
Did Lucifer call you? 🤡
CRIME...
Crime is criminal! Its everywhere!
@@AllAboutABQ It's everywhere in New Mexico that's for damn sure. lol
You have … “the war zone “
Where is that??
It was called that decades ago. It's not some new thing.

Hey @InnocentHikingWaterfall! Do you live in the area?
You forgot to mention all the homeless taking over and junkies everywhere I’m a firearm instructor so my advice is get a gun and get trained you most likely will need it
Did the governor really take away guns?? Can you give us some insight?
She made an illegal executive order banning all able bodied persons from conceal or open carrying in Albuquerque NM even she acknowledged criminal won’t comply! Best believe I’m hard at work to make sure she pays for being a tyrant
What do we do about the gun violence in Albuquerque? Every city has it but it seems like we are on a record pace@@eddiearchuleta615
@@AllAboutABQ we need to start holding people accountable. One of the reasons ABQ is in such a sad state is that people aren't held accountable
