You could have whipped the yolks and sugar longer; there is another chemical reaction that happens when whipping and it becomes lighter and fluffier... get a cheap hand mixer!

The apple pies at McDonald’s used to be like the ones you have, but a number of years ago they changed them to baked rather than fried in an attempt to be healthier. I can still remember the way the fried ones tasted, though. I think most eggnog I have had hasn’t been quite as thick as what you made, but yours still looked pretty good.

I loved deep fried apple pies when they served it at McDonald's here in the States years ago! Then somebody decided we needed to be healthier and everyone started baking them instead! Not nearly as good! But we don't have them anymore.

The apple pies at Checkers and Popeyes (if they still have them) are still fried if you are looking for one, but they still aren't as better than the old McDonald's one. But they are still better than the current McDonald apple pies.

I dilute my zoflora in a spray bottle and wipe down the radiators with it every few days so when they warm up it smells amazing .
Loved comments of the day dance, and even Mickey was dancing in the background.
