Tell them to swivel... my heating is on full blast and will remain on full blast until the winter is over and I DECIDE to turn it off.... And I'll pay whatever I can afford and not what they say... I ain't allowing them to do this to me or any elderly person in my area
Cut foreign aid and put the £15 billion on solar panels on every home every year. Within a decade it would mean every house has solar panels. It'd mean we hit eliminate the majority of our electric bills as a country and drive the economy as it'll increase the amount of disposable income.
It will keep going up as renewables need renewing. Wind turbines and solar panels only last so many years and then they will need new ones; in the case of wind turbines possibly new concrete bases. This is a never ending project. What is the life of conventional or nuclear power stations in comparison?
Well, Hinkley is costing about £31-34 billion. For comparison, that cost would put solar panels on about 15% of every house in the UK. I would rather we cut foreign aid completely, and put that £15 billion into solar panels for UK citizens. Within 10 years that would mean every home has solar panels. Imagine what that would do to the UK economy if everybody had that money back in their pockets to spend. It'd cause an economic boom while simultaneously providing so many jobs, energy sustainability and independence and meeting net 0 targets sooner.
This is not an price cap when it goes up every 5 minutes
It's also not a price cap of everyone charges it. It's just the price.
It isn't a price cap at all.
exactly and ofgem are not the regulators that's the job of politicians
Uk pays the highest energy in the world
Thanks government
There's literally no way on earth that is true.
Who destroyed Nordstream which delivered cheap energy to Europe?
thank the nimbys
@@henryburton6529it is absolutely true
Thanks to all the crazy ‘green’ subsidies.
One word “disgusting”
Think the idea is to keep increasing costs and price us all out if existence...
1.2% is less than inflation - technically this is a cut in prices
UK :
pensioners freezing 🥶,
Farm are been lost to tax ,
energy bills are expensive ,
pound is falling .
sorry we got nothing left
We’re being ripped off already, Labour need to start helping instead of destroying lives
Just as winter comes around
1.2% is less than inflation - technically this is a cut in prices. So this is great news then?
I think the entire financial system needs to be changed!!
I thought Red Ed was going to make them cheaper?
When will bonuses get capped though? No one feels sorry for water, gas, electric, fuel & rail companies.
EVERYBODY KEEPS PAYING
Ho ho ho Merry Christmas from 2 tier Kier.
I was told they would fall by £300. Were they....were they lying to me?!
Tell them to swivel... my heating is on full blast and will remain on full blast until the winter is over and I DECIDE to turn it off....
And I'll pay whatever I can afford and not what they say...

Labour plan :
no heating,
no eating ,
we gonna starve and freeze 🥶❄
Life under labour
As if it would be any better under tories. Neo liberalism is crap eh
It was the tories who privatised our energy and water. Life under Thatcher's policies would be more accurate.

Where is the government's support and interaction?
Why should the government pay your bills ?
OFGEM sits in the corner turning a blind eye
It's not actually worth working under this government. Work all week, and at the end of it, just give it all back.
But. But. But. All that cheap, renewable energy we are told about.
Ed miliband not fit for office.
Worse mp we had for doncaster north
Everything he got involved in was made worse.
Bet he couldn’t even explain climate change at GCSE level
British people will moan, blame immigrants and accept struggle.🙄
To increase their lovely profits!😊
step 1: wear coat , gloveS and hat .
step 2 : build tent .
step 3 : turn on hair dryer .
DO THIS INSIDE YOUR HOUSE TO STAY WARM ❄🥶.
What? Again!
So because they say we are reliant on international fossil fuel markets,!!!! Let that sink in
Thanks Red Ed Sillyband.

Same old same old story
Crooks covering for Crooks
Recent colossal windfalls are clearly not enough for the ferociously greedy energy cartel. Got love all that ‘free market competition’.
What does the birth of jesus have to do with the rise in energy prices
That's why I'm not paying for my electric
They will put the standing charges up as well
It will keep going up as renewables need renewing. Wind turbines and solar panels only last so many years and then they will need new ones; in the case of wind turbines possibly new concrete bases. This is a never ending project. What is the life of conventional or nuclear power stations in comparison?
What is the cost of storing nuclear waste?
Well, Hinkley is costing about £31-34 billion.
For comparison, that cost would put solar panels on about 15% of every house in the UK.

£1.75 a month - this is brilliant given current inflation rate
1.2% is fine. I can afford that and it is less than inflation.
