Thanks for this video, it's a pleasure to see foreign people like you enjoy and praise our meats so much. Argentine meat is really on another level in the world, I say this from my own experiences. Today with the advent of the "feedlot", meats are beginning to resemble each other throughout the world. But..., thank God, there are these places in Argentina that still serve our famous "Novillo" cuts, a male and castrated beef that is only slaughtered when it reaches 450 kilos in weight and has been fattened "on pastures and cereals in the field". That is why Argentine meat is so special. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much.
Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment. I totally agree the meats of Argentina are on another level. I loved going to the food festival and watching them cook the meats over an open fire, it's so unique and done with such skill and care. Argentina is a wonderful Country that I can't wait to visit again.
We're on our way to BA in about a month. We'll definitely try to make it to Don Julio. The steak looked amazing. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. It's very helpful. Just curious....can you get your leftovers to go?
I swear... do all Americans not know how to hold a fork ???...after seeing many food shows on youtube... 100% of the Americans don't know how to hold utencils. I'll make it really simple, this is what I teach my 3 year old: form two "number ones" when holding your utencils when cutting a steak, three 4 fingers wrapped around the utencil, the index finger pointing out.
This American is 100% guilty. I have never been taught how to properly hold utencils. It was only recently I noticted after watching other tv shows that I'm not holding my fork properly. I appreciate the feedback and do intend to work on it.
Haha thank you, you aren’t the first to point this out. Thanks to my UA-cam Viewers I have learned. You’ll notice my skills in my latest videos 😄😄😄 thanks for watching.
@@JuliaGonzalesTravels haha now I feel bad! Thanks for the reviews, I’m heading to BA end of Feb and will def try them. Im in San Telmo to will def try the one in the market as well.

@@JuliaGonzalesTravels my pleasure! Keep up the vlogs. This algorithm doesn't like people like you or me unfortunately 😕
Don Julio is okay (their beef is Grass Fed, Grain Finished). My favorite is still La Carneceria! Really liked your video though! :) :)
Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment I’m adding La Carnecería to my list for next time. Thanks again!
You have to get the fries at Don Julio, not the mashed potatoes. Rookie mistake.

Yes… but the rates kept changing while we were there so we did our best to estimate in American dollars. Thanks for watching!
