Omar your video is awesome! It helped me on my M5 roof airbag and without your video I would've done alot of damage 😂

Very helpful, thank you
You are most welcome! Glad the video was helpful!!
wow❤❤
I’m just not able to find the clip of the A pillar so difficult to remove, I’m stuck to this part…
Try to use a flat head and come at it from the side so remove the weather strip and with a light see if you can see it and push it a bit and that should release it and it should come out just be careful if your airbag is not deployed try and push it a side a little so you don’t damage it
Thank you for your video Omar, great job.
I am having to replace the same item as well as the the other driver side modules. I have a couple of questions. What else do I have to replace and is there anything I need to reset? I am seeing lots of SRS Bag Modules for sale and do I need to replace that as well?
Thank you for your time and great content.
You won’t need to replace the SRS module basically just the deployed airbags and I am sure at least one seat belt would need to be replaced depending on which airbags deployed, glad the video was helpful and thank you for watching!!
thank you for replying Omar. Do you think I need to replace the airbag sensor behind the bumper as well?@@brownsburg.motorsports
@@frankwuolukka2087 if it’s damaged yes or if it threw a code otherwise you don’t have to!
Did you need to program airbags before plugging the new one in?
No there is no need to program any airbags!
Great job man! Where did you get the airbag replacement?
Thank you! I got it from BMW Dealer!
Salam alaykum omer thank you habibi very informative and well detailed 😊 .. how dod you rest the airbags? Did you clear the code ,? Or did you end up changing the airbag module ?
Wa Alykom, BMW modules do not need to be replaced after an accident just a reset with a professional scan tool and the crash data will be cleared and the Airbag light will go away! Thank you for watching!
@@brownsburg.motorsports thank you habibi🤝
Brownsburg Motorsports I know you mentioned in comments that you got the airbag from BMW, I got mine from recycled parts guys, what would you do about those metal clips. Seems like they are damaged on the airbag I have by the person who took the air big out. Can you buy these particular clips from dealership?
Yes they should be available at the dealership or even on eBay!
Did you ever find a solution to this problem because I do know that they do not sell the clips by themselves
@CesarHossain-ud8hp no I couldn't find them. Just used the damaged ones. Even the ribbets I couldn't find the exact size so just used plastic ribbets to hold the airbag in place. Not ideal but worked.
Do I need to change the SRS module? Or will it reset on its own?
It will reset on its own, all you have to do is scan the car and delete the codes and if you don’t have a professional scanner I would recommend taking the battery terminals off for 15 mins and try that!
What are the part numbers for the metal clips that hold the airbag in?
Are you talking about the rivets or the parts attached to the airbag?
The ones attached to the airbag. I talked to the dealer and they confirmed they come with the airbags@@brownsburg.motorsports
Can I use this video to all remove the roof liner so I can repair my roof
Yes this is the perfect video for it!
Hammering a screwdriver towards a windshield is asking for a bad day
It is when you don’t know what you’re doing 😂 glad the video was helpful and thank you for watching 😊
How do I remove the airbag plug safely without damaging it.
There is the tab on the connector that you can go underneath it with a pick slowly and push it up and the connector for the airbag would come off afterwards if you just pull in it gently
Good video. But actually showing you take off the panels would have been so much better.
Thank you for your input we will keep that in mind for our next videos! Thank you for watching!!
Hello. Is this tool 100% suitable? because the clips are not standard
I’m talking about air riviter
Yes it’s 100% suitable!
@@brownsburg.motorsportsthank you
Modul airbag ??
On BMW those don’t need to be replaced after a crash, all you gotta do is replaced the deployed airbags and seat belts or seat belt pretensioner and once that’s done the module can be reset with a professional scanner
Only part i needed from this video is the clip holding airbag, you skipped it you evil man
😂😂😂 will keep that in mind for the next video but The best way to get the clip off is using a hose plier with the circular shaped end starting from the back of the clips pushing both tabs and it comes out!
@@brownsburg.motorsports 😂 got it in the end now i look silly 🙃
