Hi Lindsey. when you cut out the fabric, you get kind of a rectangle out of it. the longer sides of the fabric have to be sewn together where you get a tube out of it. then you turn the tube and then sew the ends of it to the dress. i hope it makes more sense now. let me know if you need anything else :)
