The Hu doesn't deserve a Grammy; the Grammies deserve The Hu
They will conquer it soon
OMG! Sounds Great !
The HU+Grammy
Chuck Norris .... Never mind
I love how respectful he was to their music and honoring that while bringing his own creativity to it. What an awesome collaboration!
To be fair, Jacoby in the clip looks like a little kid who wants to play with his older brother and his friends lol
Yes and no. The Hu has a lot to say about their past and Jacoby plays along but WITH A LOT OF RESPECT. He said, he left the music like it is because of the traditions of the past. That is awesome. Everyone should do like you do Jacoby. You rock !
....and the Hu...AWESOME !!!!!
I wish I had the talent to perform with them. Haven’t heard music so inspiring in a long time and I don’t understand one word they are saying.
@@ChadForquer check out the original. It comes with subs.
That was exactly my thought when I first heard this song but now I love it :p
meh thats just the difference in facial hair. If he grew out his beard... with the two long braids, he would fit right in with that look.
When these guys play you feel it in your soul.
Yep
Absolutely
Holy sh*t you are so right. The second the music started I got goosebumps and the hairs on my arms stood straight up. Insane talent 😱👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Absolutely right 😍😍
Absolutely true
"If you gonna bring the evil we can bury it today" - That's my jam right there!
I love what these guys are doing with traditional instruments and singing style, but presenting it in modern rock. The music is universal. But what I live the most is the philosophy and poetry in the lyrics. Music from the seal speaks to the souls of people from all cultures, transcends language and ethnicity.
This totem is the voice of the elders. Once heard, never to be forgotten.
They have found a voice for this day and age. And they speak of the True way.... The Only way.... The Right way... That we as a people should be living.
THANK YOU.
Always loved Papa Roach, and The Hu is quickly becomming one of my favorite new bands.
Papa roach has been in the shitter for years
This band (The Hu) are going to turn music as we know it on its head. The Album (The Gereg) is simply brilliant and it doesn't matter that the tracks are sung in Mongolian. In fact, I hope all future music remains in Mongolian, it would ruin the magic in English. I can't recall ever enjoying every single track on an album, fantastic.
To The Hu band, thank you for bringing your music to the western world, it is like a breath of fresh air. Absolutely love it, can't wait for the next album! Hu! Hu! Hu! Rock on guys!
Completely agree. I totally prefer the original music. When it's sung in English, it does lose the magic and rawness of their sound.
Chek wardruna danheim and go on further from there you gonna love it aswell
@@jacquirubsam4465 I get it but hearing both versions is amazing! Gives it a different flavour. I love both!
Love how on the play back everyone is bobbing their heads
That base drum just sounds so primal and savage makes me prepare for war
Don't forget the strings over the electrical guitars .. chills
I love that Jacoby and The Hu are so honored to get the chance to work together. I look forward to sharing the stage with them.
My new IDOL is Jacoby Shaddix now and i am so happy
I love it Shaddix. And they Rock man for real. Love it love the HU and the traditional Mongolian music and voice and these guys r awesome
Never thought my Mongol parents would recomend this band
We love the HU...Papa Roach...they are showing the example that...we all brothers /sisters...reunite together, in peace & love ! The land belongs first and should be given back to the Indian...they should be treated with respect...love you all !
Jacoby did such a good collaboration with The HU
Found this video today of "The Making".... Much respect to Jacoby and The HU - awesome video and collaboration of talented musicians.

Very happy to see the success continuing to build for The Hu. It is very rare that you find a band that is so unique that you gravitate to them.

It’s f___ng, really fucking amazing. It was about 30 years ago when Mongolia was like the current North Korea. Proud of The Hu. Special thanks to Sir Dashka. Never thought you’re such a genius.
Many greets from Germany
Hello Germany!
(Sorry has to)
The original version of this song popped up in my recommends on UA-cam several times but I was checking for traditional viking music at the time so I didn't tap on it for weeks. Long story short, I finally tapped on it and I was immediately amazed and mesmerized by what I was hearing. I was blown away. The Hu hooked me from the first cords. This remix is hits harder than the original but it still makes me want to go raid my neighbors house lol.
I love the HU.Ilove their songs.Амжилт Залуусаа.
This happens to be some of the greatest music I have ever freaking heard like I have never had a song hit me in my soul like that The original version was amazing and then the collab with Papa Roach was wow
Love their collaboration !! Hu Hu Hu Hu !!!
Damn Straight!! I just heard them for the first time last night!
Burning up the earbuds at work today 😁
Just listened to this on radio for the first time and had to figure out why it sounded so different from the original. I loved it! Please continue to partner with other talent like this!
Everything that The Hu puts out is my favorite. I have their CDs and merch.

Perfect group The Hu
Достойно сделанное видео. Молодцы! Гармоничные переходы от монологов к самому клипу. Уши и глаза получили огромное удовольствие! Так держать!
This is my find of this centuary. Fucking brilliant. The HU are now one of my favourite bands, with metallica. You guys kick big ass and sing to my soul. Thank you and keep them coming, together we will overcome this evil shit in this world. Rock on brothers. South African i am.
Just pure visceral raw masculine energy. It's enough to give you strength once before unknown.
This song was on KFMA, and I have that to thank for learning about this incredible band!
Papa you know your children are many ❤️and far
Bring on the next album! 😍
I love backstage scene that everyone look at monitor and shaking their heads. It show power of METAL and how much we LOVE THIS!
I love the HU, then this version of Wolf Totem came out and I was blown away. I can't wait to see what these guys come out with in the years to come. HU!
God, I love love love The Hu band and this song so much, and the addition of Jacoby was killer too! Just one more way to love it!❤️
Jacoby's lyrics seem like an English paraphrase of the Mongolian lyrics(OTOH most translations fall between literal vs paraphrase). But I think he captured the spirit of the Wolf Totem words in English. This is an awesome song.
The additional lyrics add something that English-speakers can instantly relate to, making Mr. Shaddix's work exceptionally good, imo. 🤘
When I hear this, it brings out my soul. Not sure if you guys understand.
Your music might be the best thing that I’ve ever heard.
This version with Jacob e shattuck's, this video, will be one of the top 100 heavy metal videos of all time. Awesome song, just nails it on so many different levels.
I have heard the Woman's song and that is how i heard about this band. It's awesome.

incredible
I'm so glad we got to see this. I love both versions of the song. So stoked to see what's next.
Same, I love all three collaborations they did with American singers, and they don't make me love the original versions any less. And if these new versions make it easier for English-speaking listeners get into The Hu and discover the rest of their songs, all the better.
Hu Hu Hu 🇦🇷🤘

@Michael Thorsten T.
Danke 😊
Im native American and the untones are alot lot like are are war drumming they rock HU HU HU!
yes mongolian and turkic traditional music always has been this way if it's there for stir the heart of the people. the tradition continiued till today with various differences. for example even the ottomans were more like turkified romans/greeks and many other local people, their musical tradition especialy made for rocking people is having a lot of drums. to see this you can check mehter musics that's been used in battleground when they fighting against their rivals. that tradition is still living in turkey not only on music base but also on the fighting ground. I've seen a lot of videos that the turkish soldiers playing this while they are on the operation lol.
Be aware that those of us who are honored to have native American blood, derive that bloodline (DNA) from the ancient Mongols. It's no surprise that The HU's music resonates with those of our heritage.
Hu!
THE COOLEST THING EVER
Badass! Sounds great!
