The Boeing 737 Max is now the safest airplane to fly on. It has been tested and checked-out more than any other airplane. Also, Boeing will make sure only the best pilots will fly the 737 Max for a long time. Boeing knows that if a 737 Max crashed anytime soon, Boeing would take a very long term major loss of trust plus a large reduction in Boeing stock price.
That's my same argument. They're being given a second chance now, and if they f it up, they know they'll never be trusted EVER again. Just giving myself confidence because i'm flying on it in around a month and a half.

My question is, "Having to moving the new larger engines forward to give them the clearance needed, does this not make the plane inheritantly unstable needing software to make it able to fly?" I am not convinced that pilots could fly this plane if there was a software malfunction.

I have a 2hr flight on the max coming up and I am TERRIFIED. I was contemplating taking a worse flight time just to avoid it. I think I’m gonna suck it up and fly in it. But god I pray it’ll be alright. I’m so scared.
Personally, for me, I no longer give a shit if the MAX is safe or not. I could have accepted a software glitch/flaw that no one saw coming, yet the MAX's problem was seen, known about, and WILLFULLY HIDDEN by its creators. If I was in charge, I would force Boeing to pay $2 billion for EACH INDIVIDUAL person killed by their plane before I allowed them to sell another plane regardless of how safe they are. I would also perma-ban the MAX, just to hammer home the point that they cannot pull shit like that. As I'm not in charge, I simply refuse to fly on a MAX. They won't get any money for that plane from me...
The Max is a plane being 'retrofitted' with a different larger engine or so called 'cut corner design' and using software manually correcting the defect due to such retrofitting. It is like putting a Ferrari engine into a Toyota when the total structure integrity and characteristics has been compromised. I think all Max should go to the junk yard! I'll never fly on a 737 Max unless I have a great life insurance policy!
"You escape a stall by reducing angle of attack". Speed is a factor but reducing AoA is primary. "Impedance of the engine on the wing"?? - this guy is a genius.... "Accomodate for space on the lower wings" ????? (provide sufficient ground clearance of the nacelles??- try using that phrase in version 2) Wheres the unsubscribe button?

It wouldn't mean it's unstable. It just means it handles differently from the previous 737s
