I just got some Corsair ram yesterday and had the hardest time figuring out how to do turn the lighting off on sleep mode. STEPS TO TAKE: Go into the ram lighting effects, turn on device memory mode, delete all lighting in that mode, click anywhere on the software and a window will pop up to ask you to save what you did (hit SAVE), then go and turn device memory mode off. Now when you put your pc to sleep the lights will fully turn off (not just "turning the lights black in static mode" cuz' I feel they won't FULLY shut down if you do that, but who knows). You can still have your regular NON-MURALS lighting effects set up outside of the device memory mode and it will still turn the lights off so long as in that device memory mode, you have NOTHING as a lighting effect.
Thank you!! Just picked up a kit two days ago and RGB fusion went to sht (surprise), so I tried Icue and it worked pretty well up until I put the pc to sleep 😅 Appreciate the help
Thanks, it's so stupid. Used to work better with the hardware lighting option because it would light up again immediately after "waking up" my PC, now it takes like 15 sec. No clue who is the decision maker at Corsair iCue but they deserve to step on Lego.
for those who have the newer software, go into to settings turn off the icue sdk and game sdk and then go DIMM setup and turn on device memory mode, go to lighting layers and make it static color and then make the color black. then save that and then turn on device memory mode and now whenever you sleep your computer it will turn off! best of luck to you all!! edit: make sure too when you turn off the icue sdk and the game sdk that you go into where it has the applications checked and uncheck those too!!
For the people using the latest version of ICUE disable Device Memory Mode on lightning effects section and go to settings. From there try experimenting with disabling game SDK and if that doesn't help disable ICUE SDK. Pretty much SDK is like a controller that allows for certain software to interact with the RGB. Hope this solves your issue!
Please consider pin this / add to description. Disabling SDK seems to be required for iCUE version 5.14 (?) or above to make sure RAM lighting won't get stuck during sleep.
Yeah, but new software update v5.14.93 doesn't have hardware lightning like older version !!! Tried to reinstall but same thing, missing hardware lightning option !! Turn back on v4.33.138. Trippers...pointlessss
This a easy fix...on latest version...find the section in settings that u see both icue sdk and game sdk...turn those off...this part is optional but prevents 3rd party apps from controlling rgb...right below that ull see two tabs...one says device...go there n uncheck all tabs in section and ur done...all RGB will turn off in sleep mode
It's not working anymore for me? Updated to latest version 5.18.xx. I've deleted all the profiles. Left it all blank without lighting effects. Rebooted my pc. Created new profile with device core memory disabled then applied new lighting effect. Put computer to sleep and the led lights effect just stops and few LEDs just stays lit. E.g. I use the rain effect. Its driving me nutts. Please help!!! I'm having to shut-down every night because of this.
@@samiulkabir download it from the official corsair site type icue download in the browser and click the downloads link there you should see the older version
Sdk game lightnint try disabling that also and selecr the muel that you prefer that should onyl enable the softwrare loghtnjng so when you put the pc to sleep it should be light on

Guys if you don’t have the option hardware just disable device core memory and it will work. Trust me I had the same issues just delete some profiles

سعی کنید حافظه دستگاه را در نسخه 5 غیرفعال کنید و اگر کمکی نکرد، تنظیمات SDK را به هم بزنید امیدوارم این کمک کند لذت ببرید
