I remember the first time I encountered bonetail I totally forgot there was a third dragon, the remake did a fantastic job scaring me with the intro but I think the real scary part is how bonetail is still alive it was created through dark magic to stay alive same with hooktail and gloomtai, they have no souls they’re just physical embodiments of magic and once they’re defeated they just disappear.
