Broooo, and I thought I was weird for doing the thing u call sleep producing. Phew!! What a relief! Also that kick triple editing is cool, gonna try it
The teaching thing benefitting yourself is 1000% accurate. I self taught my self chemsitry/cannabis extraction and this hits home so hard to me. Your a smart kid. subscribed. Might get in touch. Appreciate your content. Thank you
Hi, i'm from Russia, and i LOVE your videos! You helped me so much, you just opened my eyes, your lessons help with distraction from the difficulties in life! Just thank you very much! I'm waiting for more videos!
I think my biggest difficulties are mixing, sounding loud, make good mixing decisions, where to get good sounds to start with... I would like to see more content on those. The track I'm working on right now sounds ok but it feels like its missing that "loud and proud" feel. Might be because of fhe sounds selected, and/or their quality, but could also be my mixing. Though I'm gonna say i've improved a lot throughout the years.
No joke "sleep production" is a thing. Similar to teaching your mind how to "lucid dream," once you practice it enough eventually you get to a point where inbetween falling asleep and drifting off, you can come up with come amazing creations. Similarly also when you are waking up but not fully awake yet, then its a matter of making a voice memo and boom. Cheers 🎉
yoo the last advice is very useful not only in music prod but also almost everywhere. I firstly read about this 'imagination' technique in a book of Michael Chekhov (russian actor) not a while ago and used it in my acting on the scene. A great method to open your creativity and get into the flowstate even if you're away from your DAW (or anything else lol)
How are you a year below me in age, but have so much knowledge and your productions are really good? Not here to hate, I know you have been producing for 9 years, but still all of the things you teach and produce are so valuebale.
Oh wow. Those crystallizer sweeps are sick. I’m going to try it out! I am really dedicated to my learning path with production this last year. Not sure if you teach people remotely but would have interest in guidance pushing through to the next stage where I can more create music more intentionally vs taming chaos.
10:35 Check out Neville Goddard. He has a lecture called " Living in the end " That's what you're doing. You're going to the end result first in the mind. Then the body follows. Doing it before bed is good bc you're brain waves go through changes and make you more subconsciously aware. Thanks for reminding me. I've done this in my person life since 2022 and it is truly magical how wonderful life is.
At 1:03 when you consolidated the midi into audio, the bit depth at "24" and resampling quality at "512". I see many use these values when exporting the full song for high quality. Or can we use these same values when consolidating for a single midi as you did during the mixing process itself? Thank you for the 💎
I make music on Logic Pro X, not FL Studio. I feel left out because it seems like everybody uses FL but Idk how to use it and it costs money to (because I don't understand tutorials from YT).
You're not alone. I use Ableton. You can pretty much do everything that they do in their platform on yours--you just need to do a quick google search sometimes. You could also try searching for specifically Logic Pro X tutorials, too. That's what I did for Ableton. You can do it, don't give up. :)
Hey man, I struggled with this but for ableton. (I’m on FL, but felt like I should move to Abelton) ultimately it doesn’t matter which DAW. Learn how to turn what these people do on there daw into yours. It’s that extra bit of pressure that creates diamonds 💎 hope this helps!
@@groovesbyglobe I thought about starting to watch Ableton tutorials, but Idk... I feel like I should know everything about Logic X but you know, if something happens... Imo Logic is underrated.
Bro FL was my first DAW coming from a Boss DR-5 drum machine and a Roland VS-880 recorder…my pc was shit so I bought a Mac with Mbox and PT and Reason (left FL) After making beats in PT with Reason, I can make beats in any DAW. It’s the same principle, you can make beats in FL the same way you do in Logic so im kinda confused by you comment brodie
This won't necessarily help you make 7x more music. But it could help you make 7x better music. And thats a more desirable outcome because I'd rather make one great song than fart out 7 ok songs.
Hi lol
Hi this video was really good
"Sleep Producing" 🤔... Brilliant... Psssh, Sleep ANYTHING... Definitely trying this 💯

Never heard about that last piece of advice, absolute gold here bro.

"Taming Chaos" ... Cool album title
"they were discovered through some weird experiments" that is actually tip no. 1... just try weird stuff
True. I saw someone's bass preset on the mixer and he put vocodex and it changed the bass completely.
Sometimes I use a sample of like, guitar or something, then put it into a granular synthesizer and use that as a background pad.
A lot of effort and hard work was done to be able to teach these tips, thank you my friend.
You're a freaking genius for the tip no 7 dude, thanks.
Yes, mental rehearsal!! Brilliant idea!
good video, really like this one
Thank you for not wasting my time

Teaching others and surrounding yourself with like minded people is truly an unfair advantage

Sorry bro the original melody was fire…
