Ben Kingsley, Christian Slater, Elliott Gould star in this animated adaptation of the Bible story Moses hears the voice of God from a burning bush, which inspires him to confront Egypt's pharaoh and demand freedom for the Israelite slaves. The pharaoh agrees after a series of horrific plagues, and Moses leads the Israelites through the parted Red Sea into the harsh freedom of the desert. There he ascends Mount Sinai and returns with the Ten Commandments.

The 10 Commandments use to be on ABC every year during Resurrection Sunday when i was a child. Idk what has happened dwn thru the yrs with media as a whole. Its soooo sad and pitiful. Oh but God...God WILL turn it around for our good and HIS GLORY...Glory Hallelujah...in Jesus name Amen....

every once in a while. I know Jesus, Mary and Joseph 30 plus years ago. He healed a blind man, raised 4 people from the Dead (number may be wrong) and Romans killed him because he was not a Son of God in their eyes. David and Goliath and Moses are two stories i have relive a few times. GOD BLESS!

Almighty God said
The WORK that JEHOVAH DID with the ISRAELITES was ESTABLISHED in the MIDDLE of HUMANITY in the EARTHLY place ORIGINATED by GOD, which was ALSO the HOLY PLACE WHERE HE was PRESENT. ☀️
He limited His work to the people of Israel. At first, He did not work outside of Israel; rather, He chose a town that He saw fit to set the scope of His work. ISRAEL is the PLACE where GOD CREATED ADAM and EVE, and FROM the DUST in that PLACE JEHOVAH CREATED MAN; This PLACE BECAME the REST of His WORK on EARTH. The ISRAELITES, who are the DESCENDANTS of NOAH and also the DESCENDANTS of ADAM, are the HUMAN FOUNDATIONS of JEHOVAH'S WORK on EARTH.
At THIS TIME, the MEANING, PURPOSE, and STAGES of JEHOVAH'S WORK in ISRAEL was to BEGIN His work throughout the EARTH, which, from ISRAEL as the CENTER, gradually SPREAD to the GENTILE NATIONS. This is the PRINCIPLE BASIS of what He is doing THROUGHOUT the UNIVERSE----to ESTABLISH a MODEL and then EXPAND it until all PEOPLE in the UNIVERSE RECEIVE His GOSPEL. The first Israelites were descendants of Noah. These PEOPLE were only GIVEN the BREATH of JEHOVAH, and UNDERSTOOD enough to TAKE CARE of the BASIC necessities of LIFE, but THEY did NOT KNOW what KIND of GOD JEHOVAH was, or His WILL for MAN, much less HOW they The LORD must be REVERED by all CREATION. As FOR WHETHER there are RULES and COMMANDMENTS to FOLLOW, and WHETHER there is WORK for CREATED beings to DO for the CREATOR: Adam's descendants know nothing of these things. All they know is that the husband must sweat and toil to provide for his family, and that the wife must submit to her husband and maintain the human race that Jehovah created. In other words, these people, who only have Jehovah's breath and His life, do not know anything about how to obey God's commandments or how to obey God's commandments or how to give-- delight the Lord of all creation. 🌺
So although THERE is NO DECEPTION or DECEPTION in their HEARTS and THERE is RARELY JEALOUSY and DISPUTES among them, HOWEVER they have NO KNOWLEDGE or UNDERSTANDING of Jehovah, the LORD of the whole CREATION. All these DESCENDANTS of man KNOW is to EAT the THINGS of JEHOVAH, and ENJOY the THINGS of JEHOVAH, BUT they do NOT know HOW to HONOR JEHOVAH; they do NOT KNOW that JEHOVAH is the ONE they should WORSHIP on their KNEES. So HOW can THEY be CALLED His CREATION? IF it is SO, WHAT are the WORDS, "Jehovah is Lord of all creation" and "He created man so that man may express Him, glorify Him, and represent Him"-- when they are useless? 🌺
HOW can PEOPLE who do not RESPECT JEHOVAH be a TESTIMONY of His GLORY? HOW CAN they be a MANIFESTATION of His GLORY? COULD JEHOVAH'S WORDS "I created man in my image" BECOME a WEAPON in the HANDS of SATAN----WHO is EVIL? Could these words not be a mark of shame for Jehovah's creation in man?
To complete that stage of the work, Jehovah, in order to create people, did not teach or guide them from the time of Adam to that of Noah. Instead, only after the flood destroyed the world did He formally begin to guide the Israelites, who are descendants of Noah and Adam as well. His work and utterances in Israel gave Israel guidance to all the people of Israel as they lived throughout the land of Israel, and in this way showed mankind that Jehovah is not only able to inspire man, to have him of life from Him and rise from the dust and become a created man, but that He also can burn mankind to ashes, and curse mankind, and use His rod to rule mankind.
And, HOWEVER, they SAW thatJEHOVAH COULD GUIDE MAN'S LIFE on EARTH, and SPEAK and WORK among MANKIND ACCORDING to the TIMES of the DAY and the NIGHT. HE JUST DID the WORK so His CREATURES eould KNOW that MAN CAME from THE DUST that HE PICKED UP, and OUT of it HE CREATED MAN. 🌺
Not only this, but the work He began in Israel was so that other peoples and nations (which were actually not separate from Israel, but branched from the Israelites, but still descended from Adam and Eve) would receive of the gospel of Jehovah from Israel, so that all created beings in the universe can respect Jehovah and distinguish Him as great.
If JEHOVAH did not BEGIN His WORK in ISRAEL, BUT INSTEAD, when MANKIND was CREATED, HE LET them LIVE WITHOUT WORRY on the EARTH, so in Such a CONDITION, BECAUSE of MAN'S PHYSICAL NATURE
(nature means that man will never know the things he cannot see, which means he will never know that Jehovah created mankind, and especially not why He did it), He WILL not KNOW that JEHOVAH is CREATE HUMANITY or that He is the LORD of the WHOLE CREATION. If Jehovah had created man and placed him in the world to be an object for His personal pleasure, and then simply shook the dust from his hands and departed, instead of remaining among men to give them inner guidance some time, then all mankind would return to nothingness; even heaven and earth and all the innumerable things He made, and all mankind, will return to nothingness and be further trampled underfoot by Satan. In this WAY JEHOVAH'S DESIRE that "In the world, that is, in the midst of His creation, He should have a place to stand, a holy place" WILL be DESTROYED.
And so, AFTER CREATING HUMANS, He was ABLE to STAY in their MIDST to GUIDE THEM in THEIR LIVES, and SPEAK to THEM from THEIR MIDST, ALL of this to FULFILL His DESIRE, and ACHIEVE His PLAN. 🌺
The work He did with the Israelites was only intended to carry out the plan He had put in place before His creation of all things, and hence His action first among the Israelites and His creation of all things are not opposed to each other, but both for the sake of His rule, His work, and His glory, and also to deepen the meaning of His creation in mankind. He GUIDED the LIFE of PEOPLE on EARTH TWO THOUSAND YEARS after NOAH, DURING which TIME He TAUGHT MANKIND to UNDERSTAND HOW to HONOR JEHOVAH the LORD of all CREATION, HOW to ORGANIZE their LIVES and HOW to CONTINUE LIVING, and ABOVE ALL, HOW to ACT as a WITNESS for JEHOVAH, FOLLOW Him, and GIVE Him RESPECT, PRAISE Him with MUSIC like DAVID and your PRIESTS did. 🌺
Before the two thousand years in which Jehovah did His work, man knew nothing, and almost all men fell into depravity, until, before the destruction of the world by the flood, they reached the depths of depravity and corruption if where in their hearts Jehovah is empty, and even more empty of His ways. They never understood the work Jehovah was going to do; they lack righteousness, much less knowledge, and, like a breathing machine, are completely ignorant of man, God, the world, life and the like. On earth they were involved in many temptations, like the serpent, and said many things that offended Jehovah, but because they were ignorant Jehovah did not chastise or discipline them. 😪
ONLY after the FLOOD, when NOAH was 601 years old, JEHOVAH formally APPEARED to NOAH and GUIDED him and his FAMILY, LEADING the BIRDS and ANIMALS that SURVIVED the FLOOD with NOAH and his DESCENDANTS, UNTIL at the END of the LAW, all for 2,500 years.

I like that the voice of God was so gentle and calm. This is the way I imagine God would speak; God is indeed patient and His very nature is loving.

On a lighter note. When I was 18 (50 years ago) I came home one evening to see my folks watching this movie. Let me tell you, seeing Moses get the tablet from God up on the mountain with all the lightening sure was impressive. Super trippy while doing micro-dot acid. It was the one with Charlton Heston.

Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans
. The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom.
If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us into His image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. We cannot purify ourselves, but Christ lived that perfect sinless, pure life and then allotted it to our "account".
That's where our righteousness comes from. Not from any good, works that you or I could do.
It is not based on the amount of good works we do. God starts the changes, He carries it on, and He completes it in those who let Him.
It's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him, again, through His power and instruction).
He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if YOU had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place.
He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, forgiveness, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it.
He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way.

His work and utterances in Israel gave Israel guidance to all the people of Israel as they lived throughout the land of Israel, and in this way showed mankind that Jehovah is not only able to inspire man, to have him of life from Him and rise from the dust and become a created man, but that He also can burn mankind to ashes, and curse mankind, and use His rod to rule mankind.
And, HOWEVER, they SAW thatJEHOVAH COULD GUIDE MAN'S LIFE on EARTH, and SPEAK and WORK among MANKIND ACCORDING to the TIMES of the DAY and the NIGHT. HE JUST DID the WORK so His CREATURES eould KNOW that MAN CAME from THE DUST that HE PICKED UP, and OUT of it HE CREATED MAN. 🌺
Not only this, but the work He began in Israel was so that other peoples and nations (which were actually not separate from Israel, but branched from the Israelites, but still descended from Adam and Eve) would receive of the gospel of Jehovah from Israel, so that all created beings in the universe can respect Jehovah and distinguish Him as great.
If JEHOVAH did not BEGIN His WORK in ISRAEL, BUT INSTEAD, when MANKIND was CREATED, HE LET them LIVE WITHOUT WORRY on the EARTH, so in Such a CONDITION, BECAUSE of MAN'S PHYSICAL NATURE
(nature means that man will never know the things he cannot see, which means he will never know that Jehovah created mankind, and especially not why He did it), He WILL not KNOW that JEHOVAH is CREATE HUMANITY or that He is the LORD of the WHOLE CREATION. If Jehovah had created man and placed him in the world to be an object for His personal pleasure, and then simply shook the dust from his hands and departed, instead of remaining among men to give them inner guidance some time, then all mankind would return to nothingness; even heaven and earth and all the innumerable things He made, and all mankind, will return to nothingness and be further trampled underfoot by Satan. In this WAY JEHOVAH'S DESIRE that "In the world, that is, in the midst of His creation, He should have a place to stand, a holy place" WILL be DESTROYED.
And so, AFTER CREATING HUMANS, He was ABLE to STAY in their MIDST to GUIDE THEM in THEIR LIVES, and SPEAK to THEM from THEIR MIDST, ALL of this to FULFILL His DESIRE, and ACHIEVE His PLAN. 🌺
The work He did with the Israelites was only intended to carry out the plan He had put in place before His creation of all things, and hence His action first among the Israelites and His creation of all things are not opposed to each other, but both for the sake of His rule, His work, and His glory, and also to deepen the meaning of His creation in mankind. He GUIDED the LIFE of PEOPLE on EARTH TWO THOUSAND YEARS after NOAH, DURING which TIME He TAUGHT MANKIND to UNDERSTAND HOW to HONOR JEHOVAH the LORD of all CREATION, HOW to ORGANIZE their LIVES and HOW to CONTINUE LIVING, and ABOVE ALL, HOW to ACT as a WITNESS for JEHOVAH, FOLLOW Him, and GIVE Him RESPECT, PRAISE Him with MUSIC like DAVID and your PRIESTS did. 🌺
Before the two thousand years in which Jehovah did His work, man knew nothing, and almost all men fell into depravity, until, before the destruction of the world by the flood, they reached the depths of depravity and corruption if where in their hearts Jehovah is empty, and even more empty of His ways. They never understood the work Jehovah was going to do; they lack righteousness, much less knowledge, and, like a breathing machine, are completely ignorant of man, God, the world, life and the like. On earth they were involved in many temptations, like the serpent, and said many things that offended Jehovah, but because they were ignorant Jehovah did not chastise or discipline them. 😪
ONLY after the FLOOD, when NOAH was 601 years old, JEHOVAH formally APPEARED to NOAH and GUIDED him and his FAMILY, LEADING the BIRDS and ANIMALS that SURVIVED the FLOOD with NOAH and his DESCENDANTS, UNTIL at the END of the LAW, all for 2,500 years.

That is not God talking to you. Satan wants you to believe you are hopeless and have no chance - but the truth is that you do. Jesus died for your sins and shortcomings so that you CAN have hope. That's your past, present and future sins, all paid for in full by Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-10 says:
"Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is new. God has done it all! He sent Christ to make peace between himself and us, and he has given us the work of making peace between himself and others.

Almighty God said
The WORK that JEHOVAH DID with the ISRAELITES was ESTABLISHED in the MIDDLE of HUMANITY in the EARTHLY place ORIGINATED by GOD, which was ALSO the HOLY PLACE WHERE HE was PRESENT. ☀️
He limited His work to the people of Israel. At first, He did not work outside of Israel; rather, He chose a town that He saw fit to set the scope of His work. ISRAEL is the PLACE where GOD CREATED ADAM and EVE, and FROM the DUST in that PLACE JEHOVAH CREATED MAN; This PLACE BECAME the REST of His WORK on EARTH. The ISRAELITES, who are the DESCENDANTS of NOAH and also the DESCENDANTS of ADAM, are the HUMAN FOUNDATIONS of JEHOVAH'S WORK on EARTH.
At THIS TIME, the MEANING, PURPOSE, and STAGES of JEHOVAH'S WORK in ISRAEL was to BEGIN His work throughout the EARTH, which, from ISRAEL as the CENTER, gradually SPREAD to the GENTILE NATIONS. This is the PRINCIPLE BASIS of what He is doing THROUGHOUT the UNIVERSE----to ESTABLISH a MODEL and then EXPAND it until all PEOPLE in the UNIVERSE RECEIVE His GOSPEL. The first Israelites were descendants of Noah. These PEOPLE were only GIVEN the BREATH of JEHOVAH, and UNDERSTOOD enough to TAKE CARE of the BASIC necessities of LIFE, but THEY did NOT KNOW what KIND of GOD JEHOVAH was, or His WILL for MAN, much less HOW they The LORD must be REVERED by all CREATION. As FOR WHETHER there are RULES and COMMANDMENTS to FOLLOW, and WHETHER there is WORK for CREATED beings to DO for the CREATOR: Adam's descendants know nothing of these things. All they know is that the husband must sweat and toil to provide for his family, and that the wife must submit to her husband and maintain the human race that Jehovah created. In other words, these people, who only have Jehovah's breath and His life, do not know anything about how to obey God's commandments or how to obey God's commandments or how to give-- delight the Lord of all creation. 🌺
So although THERE is NO DECEPTION or DECEPTION in their HEARTS and THERE is RARELY JEALOUSY and DISPUTES among them, HOWEVER they have NO KNOWLEDGE or UNDERSTANDING of Jehovah, the LORD of the whole CREATION. All these DESCENDANTS of man KNOW is to EAT the THINGS of JEHOVAH, and ENJOY the THINGS of JEHOVAH, BUT they do NOT know HOW to HONOR JEHOVAH; they do NOT KNOW that JEHOVAH is the ONE they should WORSHIP on their KNEES. So HOW can THEY be CALLED His CREATION? IF it is SO, WHAT are the WORDS, "Jehovah is Lord of all creation" and "He created man so that man may express Him, glorify Him, and represent Him"-- when they are useless? 🌺
HOW can PEOPLE who do not RESPECT JEHOVAH be a TESTIMONY of His GLORY? HOW CAN they be a MANIFESTATION of His GLORY? COULD JEHOVAH'S WORDS "I created man in my image" BECOME a WEAPON in the HANDS of SATAN----WHO is EVIL? Could these words not be a mark of shame for Jehovah's creation in man?
To complete that stage of the work, Jehovah, in order to create people, did not teach or guide them from the time of Adam to that of Noah.
