"... that's cranberry juice and he's a trained actor."
[created using AI]
😂😂😂😂😂
Nah, there's no political agenda to this.
People that feel sorry for those pests don’t realize how much damage even a small group can do. Hunters have to be the apex predators now. Well done 👍
So what are these thieving monkeys stealing in the mountains again that makes them into a "pest"? 😂
Look at our inner cities as a perfect example
6 Baboons In One Video - ua-cam.com/video/Dea1vkoLumk/v-deo.html
Those moments when the baboon moves away 0.0001 seconds before you pull the trigger! 😱
Baboons definitely seem like a tough animal to hunt. Not only are they smart, but they live in rough country. Quite a challenge, thank you for the effort Pieter. I sure the citrus farmers are grateful too.
Hahaha 11:52 cranberry juice and trained actor 😂😂
10:15 It could be scope glint from the light reflecting off the rocks. I live in the States so i can't determine how bright those rocks are. But my experience was similar to Coyote hunting. I would like up the shot and as soon as my cross hairs got on the Coyote. It would look at me and bolt. I left an older scope (That i use like monocular) where i was and walked to where the Coyote was. It turned out that there was light reflecting off a tin roof onto my hide. So when i looked at the Coyote it basically laser beamed it with scope glints.
Try using a scope shroud and see how well it works. It's cheap and helps get rid of another obstacle you have to worry about.
Ordered some MK machining bits 🔫🔫
Hi from England ...... You super sharp shooter ....... No baboons over here but quite a few people who behave the same way 😂
You hit the nail on the head. I watch your videos because they are like high end production movies. The amount of work you put in to editing and your content is evident. I'm always happy to see Impact Shooting in my notifications. Please keep these videos coming !
Thanks for all the nice vids and your hard work. Greatly appreciated!
Awesome video Piet. I know your struggle. I ran after a wounded ostrich in the Klein Karoo the past week in heat of 37°C. The satisfaction is just so much greater when you have to work so hard for it.
Well done!
Thanks!
I can totally feel you when you say it’s exhausting to climb the mountain with the gear!!
I usually don’t stalk that much but every now and then I do and I try to go as light as possible and still I’m sweating al over the place and I don’t have to carry 3 cams and a second tripod…
I love your hunting videos! Keep It going!
First time watching one of your longer hunting videos with BOTH EARBUDS in. Wow!!! The sound is amazing and possibly better than the video quality!!
Thank you so much!
I am surprised . I thought baboons were on the downfall as far as population
Big fan of your channel your content just keeps getting better and better .
I appreciate that!
Hey man, Awesome video as always. I think its cool how pumped up your are about doing this. It makes the video more interesting to follow seeing your excitement. I think you have almost as much talent editing your videos as you do shooting these pest. Thanks for taking us along with you and sharing some knowledge along the way.
Me: remembering when there were maybe 10k subs and thinking”This guy is gonna make awesome stuff”
Legend!!!
8:07 you were looking for him and he was already behind you!! He could have ambushed you! Too funny
Look at them fangs, It’s like hunting day walkers.
13:08 "mmmm they must have just been here... this is fresh"🤣🤣🤣🤣
New to your channel but loving it so far. Keep up the amazing videos!
Absolutely Megga! Thanks for the ride Pete. U r top man. Luvya mate .
man I love this guy's videos
The amount of effort and energy to get these videos must be insane my respect brotha 🙏
The orchard owner should put up a 300’ tower in the middle of the field with an air conditioned tiny cabin on top. I’d live there for minimum wage as long as they fed me and provided firearms and ammo to protect the crop.
Hmmm, that's a great idea......more than minimal wage though.
He would have to sell a lot of citrus to offset the cost of that setup.
I was thinking the same.
Interesting the similarities between Baboons and Red Sea proxies.🤔
Thanks, I enjoy your hunting videos!
cranberry juice and trained actor🤣love the videos keep it up!!👍
i really like this. You are like my uncle used to be. Very accurate and very focused on what you do.
"Uncle Piet" 👌
Excellent video Pieter!
Hunted this past week with my 2nd Warbird silencer. LOVE IT!! 😍
Excellent work on reducing those nuisances.
i looked down in the comments and didn't see any mention of it. But new viewer here, it was so cool to see your heartbeat in the scope for the 4th kill. Never seen that before.
Love this stuff. Thermal monocular be a benefit to you hunting these?
Hard work and patience paying off
The gear you have is so nice! Good production as well! Great stuff man, you earned a sub from me.

Kudos to you Pieter🔥
Hi Pieter.. a absolute pleasure to join you on a hunt. You work moer hard and sweat like we did in army days... Well done and thank you
That's interesting that there avarmint where you live. What kind of impact are they having that makes them one? Always curious on learning new things.
They are invasive. The decimate citrus farms, and destroy entire native bird populations. They eat the eggs and destroy nesting habitat.
Outstanding vids! Love your work. GET SOME 😮!!!! 👍
Hi PM, i want to buy a chassis for my dad’s 30-06 Musgrave Springfield. Which of your chassis can work with it. 🙏🏾
You’re lots of fun to watch, very entertaining !
What caliber and grain bullets are you using?
Great stuff Piet!
Awesome footage ! Good times . Cheers and good luck !
Only recently found your channel mate, great videos really like your approach
Welcome aboard!
Jassis! Maximum Effort! Great Shots Piet!
Fantastic video. I'm coming out to South Africa in August. Baboon is on my hunting list but been told I'll probably waste a day or 4 trying to catch them out!
08:06 I was looking at that space then the square appeared and I was thinking, boom, knew it 😂
What contour/length are you running?
Another brilliant video mate. The previous video had me watch it twice was great hearing you slap them with those shots! As for the snakes they’d be having a round too, they give me the chills. That heat must be a killer, hard work pays off, well done!! 🍺
Another great video! Thanks
What a hunt 2 for 1 shot that is not a easy shot to do love your videos man big up from Sweden 😁
Vortex is da bomb! Running them on a lot of my stuff. From my airgun to my Creedmore. Love their products!
man , unbelievable these shots Buddy
You may have mentioned it before, but, what type of bullet are you using? Obviously getting good penetration and they seem to go right down.
Start of the video states it and gear used.
Hope to see part II
That's pretty bad-ass. Good job!
Hi Pete thank you for taking the time to share your experience much appreciated will Love and Respect Bill W.
Man you are so funny. and I love to watch your stuff this is AWSOME. keep them coming. Like x 100000000
Good shots. Im new to your channel so I was just wondering why don’t you drop the alpha?
That leads to a mating frenzy with the young males having access to females
@@IMPACTSHOOTING oh right. I would’ve thought if you got him, they’d all disperse an hunt you down or something hahah. Never would have guessed that. Anyway good video man
Question, is there a bounty paid on the baboons?
Yes
Just subbed. Awsome hunts.
Your video are so good at helping me with my sleep.
Good night
When would a video comparing all your bullet calibers come out
Another awesome video keep up the great work.
I enjoy the hunt and the sense of humor in the chat. It does feel like I’m there.
Love your content bro.
Every time i watch your baboon adventures i cant help but remember the movie "Sands of the Kalahari" with Stuart Whitman. Question: is it possible to bait them and have a hide you can get to unseen?
Amazing thanks 🙏
Nice video bro love these videos
The created by AI was absolutely brilliant mate!!!
"Uncle Piets here with his Dasher" 😂😂😂
Brilliant stuff hard work pays off
Dam Son you are a stud or half Goat and half Man! To run around up that mountain with all that gear and still hit your target is incredible. I would have to stop for a good half hour before I could think about shooting and no less my target. Love your videos and your enthusiasm. Keep up the great work.
Cheers from
San Diego Calif
619 😎🤙🏽
hard work pays the bills.
Dankie vir die humor "This is fresh"😂
Great videos!
Awesome. I’ll be wintering in your neighborhood with my Grendel. Baboons better be careful!
Great vid's Piet. Love 'em. Tree stand would be cool...
Love this , great work .
Yes yes yes, thanks for the video!
Why you don't use a sling or rifle rugsack for these climbs?
Like the video's and explanations. Keep going🤙
I could have sworn I was subscribed, but just noticed I wasn't - so I hit the subscribe button (again?). Anyway, I really like these baboon hunting videos. I hear we have them here in the US, in Florida, and since they are an invasive species they are free and clear hunting! About the only reason I can think of going to Florida, and I just might.
Edit: You really are a phenomenal shot. I really like that tripod setup.
Thank you for the vicarious adventure 🍻
