Beautiful interview. Sierra described Christine's "daddy issue" as the point of vulnerability that allows the phantom to get to her. I think this understanding is SO evident when Sierra sings Wishing you were Somehow Here Again. The first time I heard Sierra sing that song, tears were streaming down my face because my wife traumatically lost her father in a plane crash at the age of 12 or 13. I am sure that Robin wishes her dad could somehow be here again and so do I. By the way, Robin (a soprano) has heard and loves Sierra's performance on the Royal Albert Hall video and absolutely links the song to her own father's memory.
I know this was a while back but can I just say “thank you” for this. The best Sierra interview bar none. If she wrote and autobiography, I’d absolutely buy it. Your questions were unique, well thought out, and incited the best responses. Kudos to you sir!
I also have to say wow Tim. Since I watched Phantom during Covid, I have watched Sierra on You Tube, Instagram, Stars in the House, her Lightworkers, etc., etc.; everywhere she has appeared. Sierra is the epitome of how to live and love life. Your interview was outstanding!
I am older retiree and know a great deal about singers, actors and actresses etc. from the 30s 40s 50s etc. on up so safely feel i can judge talent! I have recently discovered this amazing singer-actress and Sierra is drop dead brilliant! I am watching everything I can see on her and listening to as much as I can including her duets with the equally talented Julian Ovendon. Her voice is ethereal and her talent is so tremendous that Sierra"s talent only comes once in a generation! I am mesmerized when she is singing and sometimes begin crying! She is not a trained opera singer, i gather but she could easily sing in the Met. I adore Kristen Chenoweth also and Sierra is easily in her category of stupendous performers!
Discovering Sierra during this past year via, of course, the streaming of POTO 25th on youtube has been a delight. It is so far the only show I've actually seen her in, but watching her in interviews like this one, her discussions in her Light Lessons (which she did not mention), her music videos and other social media projects, her insights into her chosen profession, sure makes me glad I share the planet with beings like her! I very much enjoyed the questions you provided, Tim. Thank you!
Isn’t Sierra just lovely! I can sense a genuine kindness about her. The way she talks about her passions and her outlook on life is truly inspiring, something I strive for in my own life. Thank you for sharing this interview! I started the video thinking I’d only watch perhaps a few minutes, but instead became captivated for the entire hour! An excellent Q&A! Well done.
Thank you for this Tim . Sierra is such a breath of fresh air. A woman of substance and integrity and an inspiration; and the way she 'gives back' is phenomenal. Thank you Sierra!! Her music and light works have helped me through lockdown through Covid this past year here in Johannesburg South Africa.
Thank you so much Tim with this Amazing interview with the very talented intelligent down to earth Sierra Boggess..a true angel of music. Her personality helped to exude an extreme sense of happiness & joy. Thoroughly enjoyed this interview.Wishing her every success when the Theatre world opens.

How does this only have 51 likes?!?!? Truly amazing fantastic interview
I'm slightly biased but couldn't agree more!
Amazing how someone with such a voice and stage presence is not pretentious in the least.
She can be a Christine Daae in a HEARTBEAT!
Absolutely my pleasure, Samantha.
This is one of the best interviews of Sierra I have seen (and I've seen many). Congratulations. Great questions.
Queen.
