TIM & JANE Wedding
Переглядів 27210 місяців тому
Preceding our wedding video is a short clip of Jane and I on Indianapolis telly after finding an ancient comic book. Our wedding video was made by Jane's Dad who narrates. It opens at the Gatewood home before they head down to our apartment and we head down to the lawyer's office where the deed is done. Jane and I felt as if we had been running a marathon through the last year dealing with the ...

love Melanie cant believe she's gone, great channel
Thanks, Michele. Melanie was a joy. My wife Jane and I were lucky to know her for many years. More fun over on Facebook: facebook.com/tim.quinn.5621
Such a shame, for someone who gave so much time to charities, never an unkind word, a true gentle man. As David Bowie said when he knew his time was limited, I still have so much I want to do. But his music will live on extending his presence with us for years to come. RIP.
Probably the most underrated musician of my lifetime
We were pen pals when he was in Hideways. I can't believe how handsome he still is. I even have a lock of his hair lol
Top bloke will be missed...RIP.
Huge contributions from Tony from the beginning but i do remember that for a number of artists painters, poets, fashion design, sculptors and ofcourse musicians saw "merseybeat" as an art movement .The Merseybeat group named after the newspaper kind put all the emphasis of our music groups into one bag even though we had amazing music fusions at the time from folk, blues, r&b,classic,r&r,street bands and a lot of Jazz.I would have loved to have seen "Merseybeat" become more than a unique style of music mainly recorded in London.
Yes it kind of put all our music groups into one bag ,even skiffle which was part of merseybeat but was soon lost in the "flight for 45 fame"anyway cheer up and long live the Cavern Club they are doing a great job and always have done.❤
Wonderful interview - really well conducted. Could have easily listened to this conversation going on for hours longer.
Thanks, Antony. Wonderful interviewee!
Great interview.
This is great listening to my ‘old’ mate Billy, talking about West Derby Rd and Rankin Boys Club. These were old haunts of ours!
I was supposed to have gone to see Steve on 20th of this month at the Apex in Suffolk. I had a VIP ticket booked and was hoping to get my Mr Soft 7” and both my albums signed with a photo. I had my 70s outfit all planned out, my accommodations booked and just needed to hire a car. There are not many musicians I would make that effort for these days. Huge sadness to lose such a down-to-earth talent and genius. 😰
37.50 '..fro..talked of Michaelangelo.' quote from TS Eliot's 'The Waste Land' poem
What a nice guy, so nice when he thanked the interviewer for reminding him of Ann Shelton. Saw him twice in late seventies and always loved his stuff. Big big loss, very sad
A great interview from a knowing, affectionate critic. Can see Steve at his best, most relaxed and learned loads about this great man. Thank you local Liverpool radio/ media...great stuff.
Thanks for kind words, Chrissi. Steve was a dear friend of many years and much missed, bless him.
You should be proud of your role in getting such a great interview. One for the ages, will have to visit Southport now!
Loved that interview…learnt a lot. Thanks.
What a humble guy, rest in peace Steve 🙏 ❤
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this chat with Steve Harley - fascinating, thought provoking, entertaining, funny and enlightening - thanks for making and sharing it 💙🎶
A fascinating and entertaining interview throughout, from someone whose 'cultural credentials were always impeccable'!! Steve's contribution to music was 'Gargantuan'!! RIP Mister Harley!!

" There aint no more all gone and run away ............." RIP Steve, thanks for the great songs
Just for reference, this was recorded in December 2015
Oh no. Bye, Steve
Thanks for this great interview Tim! And was this done a year ago or is it older? That cancer must have been aggressive. And Steve will be missed, for me always a great and underrated songwriter with a lot of Ray Davies style to it but also his very own.
Thanks, Martin. It was always a joy to work with Steve. This was in the Autumn of 2015 at the Liverpool Philharmonic.
Such an interesting guy so sorry we wont be seeing Steve singing live again.
Sebastian is a work of art written and sang by a wonderful musician.
Absolutely agree!!
Did you know that it was his first piece, and written for an orchestra? I should say his first composition x
@@effedorf Yes i did, the songs a masterpiece.
@@KathleenDavey-c2s 💋 He was a much underrated genius! X
So sad to hear that Steve has passed. Cockney Rebel's music accompanied my early teen years. What a great variety of music we had in the charts. Thanks, Steve. Hoping that your onward journey is swift and smooth.🌈🌟😔🙏
Rest in peace Steve. A truly great artist.
Great interview! Rest easy. Steve
RIP Steve, cancer is cruel
Used to know Tony really well, haven’t seen him for a number of years
Superb singer I really loved Liverpool Express music

This was everything beautiful.
Aww, how sweet. Tim, that way you look at her, no wonder you captivated her heart. Beautiful!
So sweet! Thank you for sharing ❤ the way you two looked at each other while reciting your vows was just 🥰💖
That is precious! I smiled through the whole thing! Loved the narration. ☺️
I worked with a lady who courted him name of Joan here in Stoke on Trent
Class guy and a great performer is Tony...
Beautiful interview. Sierra described Christine's "daddy issue" as the point of vulnerability that allows the phantom to get to her. I think this understanding is SO evident when Sierra sings Wishing you were Somehow Here Again. The first time I heard Sierra sing that song, tears were streaming down my face because my wife traumatically lost her father in a plane crash at the age of 12 or 13. I am sure that Robin wishes her dad could somehow be here again and so do I. By the way, Robin (a soprano) has heard and loves Sierra's performance on the Royal Albert Hall video and absolutely links the song to her own father's memory.
Great voice, love his vocals
first record i ever brought in 1974 in Australia , just brilliant
When I feel low I play your m7sic and always smile. Thank you so much xxx
Steve always amazed me when we lived in the same flats as he did in New Cross. He overcame incredible obstacles and became an amazing example for any kid. Come up and see me has been a favourite of mine for many years. Brilliant guy.
Steve Harley in my opinion should have been bigger than Bowie 💋
Absolutely not.
@@paulbanner9612 Cheers Paul 🥂 this must make us "Absolute Beginners" 😂 🎶
utter tosh
@@davethomas30 if he had the same PR he would have. RIP Steve Harley x
