One of the greatest live bands and have maintained the quality level and kept it fresh across their whole career. This is metal leaning but it is still undoubtedly MUSE. That is the only continuity that whatever the song genre leaning it could only ever be them. They have a really unique sound that underpins everything. Suggest ‘Plug in baby’ from the Rome Olympic stadium for the full Muse live experience.
Matt owns a guitar company (Manson Guitars), so he can and does destroy as many guitars as he wants. That's also how he gets all the experimental sounds out of the guitar. He's able to build new features into them.
I have to laugh that he's horrified by the stat that he's broken more guitars than anyone, and will go out of his way to explain it's pretty much just the necks that break.
So, to go deep into MUSE you need to watch: 1 - Darkshines, Hullabaloo live version 2 - Microcuts, Hullabaloo live version 3 - Space dementia, Pinkpop live 5 - Stockholm syndrome, Wembley live (Glastonbury is also GOAT) 6 - Knights of Cydonia, Rome live 7 - Reapers, Mayan live 8 - Unintended, Wembley live 9 - Hysteria, live or studio 10 - Uprising, live or studio 11 - Supermasive black hole, live or studio 12 - Algorithm, live show 13 - City of Delusion, live or studio 14 - New Born, Wembley live 15 - Butterflies and Hurricanes, Wembley live 16 - Unnatural selection, live or studio 17 - Map of the problematique, Wembley live 18 - Muscle Museum, live or studio 19 - Exogenesis Symphonie (real symphonie in 3 parts) 20 - Citizen erased, Reading live 21 - Showbiz, live or studio 22 - Assasin, Mayan live 23 - Muscle Museum, live or studio 24 - Hyper Chondriac Music (my TOP 1) 25 - Recess, live McM caffee 26 - Shrinking Universe, trailer for "28 days after" ......... There are ton's of great music from this band. For 9 years I still haven't heard even a half of their's discography.
@@OAFC101 This is exactly the case when the band offers an enormous range of styles and genres, making it challenging to choose just one. It all depends on your mood))
So glad to see more people getting into Muse. And not for nothing, I know Matt gets all the credit, but can we applaud Dom for how his drumming drives and holds together this entire song? I also love that it's always like, "Is this song punk? Or sort of EDM? Or wait, now it's really heavy. But it's sort of operatic?" Muse fans: "Yes." Live stuff: Plug in Baby at the Rome Olympic Stadium, Assassin live at The Mayan, Butterflies and Hurricanes live at Wembley or Rome, and Reapers at the Mayan.
Look at Muse supremecy or the handler, Matts voice truly sounds like the guitar, the notes he hits are ridiculous. Also uprising more commercial but such a TUNE
So pardon for being late to the party, just found your channel. My favourite (well, tied with Butterflies & Hurricanes) MUSE performance is Megalomania from the Royal Albert Hall and that would be my first pick if the Teenage Cancer Trust Unseen's channel is available for you. The other recording is kind of poor. Anyway, thank you for insightful commentary so far, as a musician myself it's much more fun to listen to guys like you react to MUSE and disemminate what's actually happening rather than watching someone basically go "wow" "yeah"
Your reactions at the heavier part were true music lover's joy haha. If you liked this song you should check out Reapers and Stockholm Syndrome. And if want something completely nuts check out Surpremacy. You're welcome!
Yo guys, great reaction! For live presentations go for Reapers live for some fret tapping action, Assassin live at the Mayan (heavy an great presentation) and Stockholm Syndrome luce at Wembley or Glastonbury 2004 , keep it coming!
I think the video material is from Rock am Ring which is a German festival where they played the song live for the first time, and I was there 🥹 it was awesome
Just subscribed for some more MUSE reactions!!! YES, most "Musers" Prefer to hear the live versions vs. Studio because they are just so damn good :) Let's see.. My request would have to be Stockholm Syndrome (Live Glastonbury 2004) here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/A1Ajxkws0Og/v-deo.html
Despite receiving numerous comments with an abundance of tracks, it appears to me that, given the current vibe you've been enjoying, the next track you should consider reviewing is 'Stockholm Syndrome'. Furthermore, the two tracks you have listened to feature Matt's older voice, so I would recommend the live version from the Mayan Theatre in LA from 2015. The mix is far superior to Glasto 04 and Wembley; the former is extremely raw, and the latter sounds rather empty. Enjoyed this reaction and hope to see more.

Jesus wept, might as well have sent the whole discography. Pick one, and one that will work well.

@@_hardcore_6863 Ridiculous comment, though. It only overwhelms and rarely informs.
@@OAFC101 Hyper Chondriac Music
Arguably the greatest lead singer and lead guitarist

i think these guys would prefer glastonbury 2004
Assassin at The Mayan is an essential reaction.
matt owns Manson guitars he can afford another, he has the record for the most guitars destroyed on stage believe it or not
Micro cuts - hullabaloo and Cave - London Astoria 2000 are fantastic
The Handler is great!
Butterflies and hurricanes live at Wembley. Awesome.

is absolutely excellent.
PLEASE DO A LIVE VERSION OF SHOWBIZ by Muse. Very dark yet beautiful song with an amazing falsetto and guitar solo
Next Muse react i vote for Citizen Erased Hullabaloo version and also Bliss from the same live
Hi can you check out Stockholm Syndrome and New Born? Ideally live at Earls Court or Wembley? Thank you 😊
As far as the guitar throwing goes,if you own Manson guitar company in Devon (Which Matt does!!!!) replacements aren't an issue.😂
Thanks for this react 🎉🔥, muse live AT the mayan.... Assassin please 🙏🤗

More Muse guys, you won't regret. There's a lot to enjoy. If I can suggest, take a look to Citizen Erased live at La Cigale from the Hullabaloo live.
Reapers live from Cologne is a must.
The Warning have just released 'S!CK'(Sick) Music Video. React to it it's great!
It still boggles my mind that The Warning opened nine of these shows. 😲
