actually never see a group that has this much persona in each of them and can actually crack banger jokes since IZ*ONE and twice. and not just be the cute-funny group. but actually funny-funny group. their humor aligns with me so much.
nmixx is my top new Gen girl group right now talent wise. Kyujin is all rounded and becomes one of my ultimate biases. And their personality is so adorable esp Lily.
The thing with Nmixx is that, vocally speaking, first you have Lily who is a generational talent if I've ever seen one. Then you have Haewon who is so strong and fits so well with Lily that they create probably the greatest 1-2 vocal punch I've ever seen. So it's unfortunately easy to not pay attention to the other members at first. But I went through the same process as you, one by one the other members revealed themselves to me, and now I fully sing the praises of Nmixx as the most vocally-talented group to grace the stage!
Sully definitely is 3rd best vocalist Fans overlook her singing abilities cause of her visuals and for Kyujin she is all rounder but she definitely top dancer in 4th gen
Honestly I'd say a big part of why you noticed Kyujin's singing more is because she's legit gotten better since debut, lol. Really impressive considering that she was already good to begin with. And this goes for all the rest of the members too. Appreciate the reaction, NMIXX definitely deserve their accolades for this performance, and it was great seeing how much fun they had with the live band.

To be precise, TXT has also appeared on Tiny Desk Korea but they have the word ‘Special’ on the description. This is because they used their own microphones instead of the shotgun mics (and I’m not sure what else, maybe post production editing?) But yes, Nmixx is the first kpop group to adhere to the Tiny Desk Korea standards of using the shotgun mics, no in-ears, shot all in one take.
I had never heard NMIXX before and I happened on this by accident and I just went up for grabs, they are so TIGHT! The band is just exceptional with the arrangements done especially for this! I am so happy this was the video introducing me to this group! Ever since experiencing this session, I can't get enough, all of their voices are like ear candy and I have one heck of a sweet tooth! Had no idea that they dance and boy howdy can they do that! apparently, Jiwoo is the choreographer. They are just sensational! I have become a big fan of tiny desk! I hope NMIXX never has internal strife and they stay together it is so rare that this kind of chemistry comes together!
You wished more groups would do Tiny Desk. There are maybe one or two current groups that would eve be able to attempt to do this - no earbuds, no backing track, completely clean, almost perfect live vocals from every member in every song. In fact there are probably only a handful of Kpop groups ever that could pull this off like these girls did. Mamamoo, Spica, Stellar...maybe Kara and 2NE1. Most if not all Kpop groups have maybe one or two really good vocalists. Not NMIXX. This is a unique group.
