Harvesting reed for thatched roofs kicks off in snowy Poland | AFP

In a snowstorm on the Vistula River lagoon near Poland's Baltic coast, a special harvester is cutting down reeds that are then exported across Europe to be used to make traditional and sustainable thatched roofs.
