Ahri was pretty much the first champion I ever knew about. As a music lover I adore this so much! The changes to her were needed. Let’s hope that other older champs get the same love ❤

She was my 1st champ who I picked from 5 beginner champ. I was waiting for this update for a long time since Rito can't give League the love it needs. But even this update got delayed 2 times, it was suppose to come late last year like Caitlyne's did but I got delayed to this year January and then hackers made it another delay.
Very happy that it finally came and I hope other old champs who has less polygon then a new champs has on it's leg or head will get the same love.

I think these themes could matter a lot more moving forward. If they’re smart they’re preparing consistent character themes for all their content. These themes would show up in tv-series like Arcane

league used to have a menu with a animated version of the splash with some theme music. Ahri was on there when i joined league, and they put the og music in the melody of this one. good times
As an Ahri main since I discovered the game in 2014, it feels very good to finally see Ahri as a updated champion just like the new ones, I hope more champions get this kind of update!

Haha, as a Jax main since i discovered the game in 2014, imagine how i feel about my champ, instead of having VGU, receiving small tweaks that make him AP and basically Riot shatting themselves in my face. Be happy you are maining the mascot.

@@megarayquaza9054 not towards the OP but towards Riot. I got disappointed of the Riot Games direction with PC LoL long ago. I quit the game at the start of the last year and man I've never been happier, the shackles are gone. Its just sad seeing what they are doing with my fav champ, i have 1.8 mil mastery on him. Yeah he is strong now but he is duelist who relies on ad and aa, not a ap mage aoe teamfighter. The change of damage on E destroyed his wave control in early game.

But it is probably Kata or Ryze who's the biggest frontpage of League.
Ahri comes close though, and well deserved. She represents everything fun with league.

The moment I saw her old splash art on my 2nd day of playing league, I know she will be my main. Almost 10 years has passed, she will still remain as my favorite champion.
I remember when we used to open the League client and there would be different seasonal soundtracks and I used to be so obsessed with them. They were so pretty. Even now League keeps coming out with such beautiful music. This song sounds like its straight out of a fantasy movie.
I just can't stop listening to this, not because it's my most used champ, but because it express emotions, the spirit, and I feel the energy. I love this type of music.
I mained Ahri when she came out. This makeover is fantastic!

I’ll be honest, a lot of champs probably needed this more than Ahri, but it’s a nice step in a good direction.
If you refer to champions like Zilean or Jax, those need a full visual rework aka VGU, not just a small update.
Probably prioritized her because she’s one of their more profitable champions. After all, Riot’s a company at the end of the day.
a full visual rework is exactly what ahri got, an ASU. A VGU would be visual and gameplay (which they might need too)

The update was gonna come out on my birthday, (but the hack scare happened and pushed it) but ya know what, as a champion that introduced me to mid lane, this was amazing and still in tears that this champ who ive played since 2016 got an amazing update!
