I am so sorry for the delay in making a video for you all! If you follow be on instagram or twitter you will know that my little brother had an accident at the end of January which meant he needed double knee surgery and now is undergoing a crazy amount of rehabilitation. Anywayyy i am back today with a review and whats in my bag i hope it's helpful and answers any questions you might have.

Lovely bag. Buy some clear Woly shoe polish, the one in the small jar and cover the bag with it followed by buffing with a clean soft cloth. Then spray the mulberry colonil spray over it you will find it will gets a lovely polished and protected covering. Unless you want it to look matt of course but then it will scratch more. Look on the Purse Forum they have great tips and tricks. Oh and you could attach the cloche to the side straps, it looks good there too and stops it being annoying by going inside the bag. Hope this helps. x

Curious, and please correct me if I'm wrong.... I'm pretty sure that this bag is NVT leather, not the Darwin leather? I'm sure the Darwin leather bags have the square leather mulberry badge inside and when they switched to NVT leather the inside leather mulberry badge became the round one like on yours. That's just what I've seen and come to understand. Either way, beautiful bag and the NVT is my personal favorite of all the leathers. Absolutely love your videos and your bag! ❤️
I have been sooo looking forward to this video lol its such a beautiful bag! I was able to buy the Mulberry oversized oak alexa in the January sales (after lusting after one for 7 years) and I absolutely love it and use it everyday as well Xx
Hiya aimee846 if you dont mind me asking how much did you get your OS alexa in the sales as I saw the same bag in the Cheshire oaks outlet for £595 and im not sure if I should get it now or wait till the sales for a better bargain x
ramsha azmat Hiya ramsha, my alexa wasn't the same price as the one in the outlets - you'd be getting a better deal lol. Also the OS alexa only went down in the sales because they are being discontinued, so you wont get another chance to get them without getting them at the outlets :) - But if you want one I would really recommend it - its so beautiful and practical and I get loads of compliments when I wear it lol

Classic bag, I have it in black :) do you find it gets heavy? Mine does and it puts me off using it every day especially when I have my toddler with me.
What do you use this for? As in casual, work, school run etc? I'm really concerned about the weight of this bag and that it will put me off too but I'm hoping that as I want it as a work bag I'll use it every day anyway :/ it's so expensive I want to be sure xx
I use it for work. It is heavy but there are some lighter leathers (I have NVT). I definitely couldn't use it when I have my toddler with me, need a cross body bag for that! I've had it seven years and I love it, still looks good as new :)

It is a beautiful bag, and a good treat for so many things going well in your life. As for the scuffs, usually with leather you can smooth them out with leather conditioning cream. Which you really should use anyhow on any leather item, to keep it from drying out.

You can always look for secondhand. My oak Bayswater is secondhand, and I got is 80% off the listed price. Given, it has water stains on the bottom, but at least I don't feel like I have to be overly careful carrying around such an expensive bag!
