Popular French singer-songwriter Mylène Farmer released "Désenchantée" as the first single from her third studio album, "L'autre...", in 1991. Thank you for your feedback! I understand your point about the word 'edit' but have not found a better word. I do not consider them remixes as such, as I only use the original elements. I called them 're-edits' at first but that is too clunky. Occasionally I call them 'extended edits' which may be more accurate. If they run over 10 minutes I call them megamixes.
