Defense in General. We have the one thing DQ & Whitt were missing in Dallas in a Strong IDL with Allen, Payne, Ridgeway(who we stole from DQ/DAL) and one of the biggest steals in the draft Johnny Newton. Jamin had been developing each year and now with Wagner & Luvu he has vets to help him take an even bigger step so the LB group is good enough to set and forget for DQ/JWJ, but Luvu and Jamin will also likely be how DQ/JWJ generate pass rush along with the IDL. I expect when Newton is fully healthy to see a lot of 4-3 looks like Allen/Payne/Newton as the DL with Jamin and Luvu at OLB and Wagner & Chinn at LB. they are also gonna do what they always do and maximize the Secondary. BSJ will take a big step up as the CB1, Forbes is gonna fulfill his ballhawk potential, and Sanristil is gonna ball out the gate in the slot. D-Fo is gonna get back to the level he showed in his 2nd season, and Quan is gonna break out and become a real game-changer. Hopefully, Butler can make an impact too to make the rotation even stronger. Tariq Castro-Fields was one of Adam Peters' guys from SF before we stole him like Ridgeway, and he's a big long athletic CB who could make a surprise impact as well. If not on defense Butler and Fields could start to move into that Jeremy Reeves special teams standout role too.
I think they have equal strength on offence and defense. They should be balanced this season.

By far our quarterback is biggest strength with best receiving core and great depth in running to support our entire offense. Since our pick and trades for offense players we should all rally behind our quarterback. Go commanders.great job you tube channels.

There is no way the underweight Forbes can be a CB1 and face tall WR like AJ brown and Metcalf etc

It's really hard to say because of the variables but we hope in the top 10 but I will be praying we at least land in the top 15...
WR/TE is probably my opinion on strongest position. We have a great WR room and we upgraded big time in the off-season with Ertz and Sinnott

Luke will see more time on the field than Dyami. I also suspect Luke will be much more productive. Dyami needs to show a bunch more this year if he wants to make the team next year.
Different coaching staff and QB.. dyami could completely turn it around this year..but who knows?

Compared to the League, Linebacker may be biggest strength. Most impactful strength - QB. Defense overall will be top 10, and hopefully top 5 in the second half.

I could make an argument that the D line is at worst the same but I believe it too will be better.
I think it’s hard to argue that the team has not improved in the areas noted. I think the group that has been improved the most is special teams an area that seemed to be almost ignored by previous regime.
I’m also not sure the team won’t add a couple more players before season starts.
Top 20 defense which will be an upgrade for sure.
I don’t think Derick Forrest will be starting either I think Quan Martin will beat him out

It becomes apparent AP/DQ/Harris are content with this being a "tread water" year. They did "enough" to be better than last year, but refuse to make any long term or high $$ commitments. They will do exactly what they said day 1. Build through the draft. We will have 6-7 wins, trade Payne and or Allen......Heck I can even see them tradin TERRY. They will then draft younger players to have a "Base" team of decent to good young players, and start to add "Top Tier" guys in year 3. All the while rolling over as much cap $$ as allowed. I could see them going after Smith, or maybe Bakhtiari if our LTs struggle mightily in camp, but if they look even salvageable as starters, he may just roll with what we got. We just gotta hope JD doesnt get injured.
Bakhtiari said, a couple of weeks ago, that he wants to play for a contender..
Our in in the middle is solid. Tackles are suspect. But I tcu pick should start at one of them. He should be ok. And think the running backs will help with protection
Commanders biggest Strength is the Defensive Tackles. Period. We have three studs and one big healthy unknown. Super talented. #HTTC

The only thing a agree with is your defensive starter projections. Maybe St Juste over Forbes at the start though.
St juste is to slow and a PI machine but maybe better coaching will help him.

ESPN is completely wrong with their comments, I strongly disagree, the strongest part of this team will be the defense and the weakest is the Offensive line, I sure hope not with our franchise Quarterback constantly on his back I sure hope not, good luck in the 2024 Season.
Man we have precisely zero idea if the OL is gonna be "bad" Will they be the Eagles? Yeah no but thats about all we know.

The font 7. The front 4 is awesome. Our 2 studs in the middle then we got to gd defense ends. We really got 3 defense ends. Better than the 2 we had.

On defense, our secondary may very well be the worst in the NFL. Dline and LB core is now solid. Overall, middle of the pack to below at best. On offense, this offensive line sucks and you have two back ups protecting the blind side with a rookie QB? this kid will spend lots of time on his back.
