    Hi Mike, Thank you for your sharing, can i ask you something about report LinkwarePC for UTP,
    What is the meaning Headroom 5.5 dB (NEXT 3,6-4,5)
    Also why the
    - resistance (ohms)
    - Insertion Loss Margin (dB)
    - Frequency (MHz)
    - Limit dB)
    not show the limit ?

    Thanks for the detailed explanation! A calibration from 2011 on an old DTX-1800, thus more than 10y old, could it skew the results on CAT6 cable reports to make it pass instead of fail? The version of the DTX-1800 seems to be the latest, 2.78.

      At 20:22 you will see an example of the report, in this case it is for a fiber link. Down at the bottom of the report there is a list of Compliant Network Standards. LinkWare PC compares each of the network standards with the results of the test and shows which will run on the link based on the results. In the case of Cat6A, you would expect to see standards such as 1000BASE-T, 10GBASE-T, etc. This will give you an idea of which speeds will run across the cable.

    wow, this is just the info i have been looking for. i would like to see how much PLC network testing can be done with Wireshark compared to Fluke equipment? thanks a lot...:)
