It’s really cool movies that are 40 years old can still hold up and are preferred over certain content that’s come out past 4 years. On another note I think it helps too that new [good] stuff coming out is made to look like the originals, as far as aesthetics matching the 80s style. I feel you can watch Mando or Rogue One then watch Empire and not have your immersion broken. If that makes sense.
I mean tbh most popular movies are of something old Lor dof the rings is from an old boook series harry potter still kinda old book series marvel based off comics. Kinda sad trheir are no popular ips
Archie Peckitt the last Harry Potter book came out in 2007, and the movies were being made while the books were still being released. I don’t think that fits in with the points you’re trying to make but I agree, wish there were more original IPs nowadays. Gaming has been good at that in recent years
Does this mean Disney is finally warming up to Theory? I hope so, they have ignored him and been very unfair with their strict rules with his fan film which does nothing but promote them.
