Thanks so much for posting this! Martin's commentary on depression is spot on & the solutions were super practical. I like how he focused on what is helpful & unhelpful the most.
Please do a video on depression and self-esteem.
I came to this video from the short clip of being proactive when you have depression, and I just wanted to say I really appreciated the actually useful tips and pragmatism. I feel like everything you see online or hear from people (even therapists) is so future focused: make goals, see people, exercise... And yes! All those things are important, as you said. But I can barely get through now. It was honestly refreshing to see someone describe their experience in a way that truly resonated with my own.
After suffering from depression in High School and now college, Im finally starting to look into therapy and possibly medication. But I just wanted to say thank you Martin, I never realized I'm trying to solve problems in the future in the present. Its incredibily helpful how much I relate to you, and Im glad you're doing better
you've never experienced depression Tom? wow... That's crazy. I can't imagine life without bouts of depression. I wish I could be like you.
I loved Martin's shirt! Continue wearing such shirts in a future episode!😊
What is this type of shirts called?
@@qassim094 don't know, do you know the name of haircut that Thomas has?
Kaneki search “shawl collar” sweater/cardigan. I’m sure there’s a better word for it though
Aditya Tile just a variation of the Undercut I believe
@@adityatile1168 I have no idea what the name of my haircut is, but you could always just screenshot one of my videos and show it to a stylist! I actually do that when I end up having to get my haircut by someone other than my main stylist.
Hey I just wanted to say that your thumbnails (in general) are really well done!
Hi, Thomas. Can you talk about new skills that students might find useful to learn during the school holidays?
I realize it's solidly 3 years into this. I need to do something now
I use Castbox and love your podcast 😁
So.. is Martins “shirt” a shirt or a sweater?
1 Investigate the A1 A2 B1 B2 C1 C2 scale as a measure of your progress in learning a foreign language.
2 There can be a downside to being too good as the nstivr speaker will easily then overestimate your competence. This can be a major problem.
Cool shirt martin
jajajaja greatings from Mexico !
