    Hello, I have a casio fx 9750 gii calculator. I took a pipe fitter program from my colleagues, but when I put in the measurements, it gives me a mistake. Any idea how I can fix the problem?

    Great video, but was watching to find out how to find sample variance from the data in the stat chart and didn't see that unfortunately...

      We will do some more statistical examples - if you look at the other graphing calculators (CG50, CG20, fx-9750GIII, etc.) they all have the same basic menus and operations. Once you enter a list (so List 1, List 2, etc.) those lists are stored and can be used in other menus. Go to Run-Matrix Menu. Choose OPT button - F5 should now say STAT. Select STAT, then you will see VAR over F5. Choose F5 - and enter the list (s) you want to find the variance of. To get the term "LIST" in, the quick way is to hit SHIFT 1 (List) - so SHIFT F1 and then enter the number 1 and hit execute to get variance.

    Hello I have the casio fx-9750GII calculator and I do not have or do not find the MATH or MTHIO mode. What do I do to place it? Since this facilitates the calculation of fractions because it shows them as when we write them on paper

      In run-matrix, once you enter that Menu, go to Shift | Menu, which takes you to the Set-UP. Here's where you can chance to the different Modes...arrow down to Mode and then you will see your choices along the bottom, controlled by the Function keys

    does this calculator show work/step by step? I bought it thinking it would, but it seems to only be a basic calculator, without showing work it is useless

      You should be able to. If you just want to go back to the previous row and edit, the right or left arrows should work. If you want to see previous entries, you need to hit AC first, then use the up arrow to get to the row you are looking for. It stores up to 30 calculations.

    I have the same calculator but the fraction/decimal button won't work. It doesn't go from fraction to decimal at all.

    • @CasioEdTech
      @CasioEdTech  3 роки тому

      You might have the calculator in linear mode, which won't toggle back and forth- it will only show decimal. To change the mode, go into the Run/Matrix menu. Then hit Shift - Menu (Setup). If the mode is Lin, change it to Math (F1) - this should allow the toggle to work.

    • @jem_on_fire
      @jem_on_fire 3 роки тому

      @@CasioEdTech The modes it's offering me are: Comp, Dec, Hex, Bin, Oct
      Other than that, there's no other option.

    • @CasioEdTech
      @CasioEdTech  3 роки тому

      @@jem_on_fire I apologize - was looking at the wrong model calculator!!! You want it in Comp mode. This is an older calculator model so only has linear display of fractions (not the standard display where you see the fraction as a numerator over a denominator. So - if you have the fraction 7/5, on this calculator it will display as 7_5 (there will be a sort of right angle between the 7 and the 5 that indicates the fraction bar). If you then toggle the F-D button, the decimal equivalent will be 1.4. You can enter fractions and mixed numbers with the template buttons as well. So 7/5 you would push the 7, the A b/c button, which puts that 'right angle' (i.e. fraction bar), and then 5. Mixed numbers you use the button 3 times. So 2 and 2/3 would be 2, hit a b/c button, 2, hit a b/c button, and then 3. It will display the improper fraction and then toggle to its decimal.

    • @CasioEdTech
      @CasioEdTech  3 роки тому

      @@jem_on_fire Additionally - if you have an answer with no fractional component (so say 5.0) then the toggle button between fraction and decimal will not show anything.

    • @jem_on_fire
      @jem_on_fire 3 роки тому

      @@CasioEdTech I followed your instructions but it still won't give me in fraction form. Not even with a right angle thingie. I have it in the Comp mode but it comes solely in decimal form.

    • @CasioEdTech
      @CasioEdTech  3 роки тому +1

      Not sure what you want the title to be, since the title is describing what the video is about - looking at the first two Menu icons and what they are used for. If you want to get started here is a link to our Quick Start Guide (this is the fx-9750GII, not the newer fx_9750GIII) - casiocdn.com/casioeducation-v2/resource/manuals/fx-9750giipk/Quick+Reference+Guide.pdf

      @@leenicholson6919 Is it an fx-9750GII or GIII? Or a different model? Most of the scientific calculators do not have a menu icon.
