I miss BaGan so much. I went there about 6 years and now it's changed. Some pagodas are destroyed by earthquake year ago but still beautiful and still attract the many tourist.
You guys are amazing! My husband and I sold everything to travel the world for the next five years, and you guys have been our biggest inspiration. We’ve learned so much from watching your videos. Sorry if this sounds weird, but we feel like we would really get along. Lol. When we watch your videos, it feels like we are watching old friends. You guys are our Casey Neistat. Thank you for all that you guys do to bring the world to our living rooms and giving people a few good minutes to forget whatever it is they are going through in real life. So much love and appreciation, Annette and Daniel Fortner
one of the best Myanmar vlogs to date... different temples and pagodas... every trip is like walking through a history book... Myanmar Tourism board should definitely use this vlog to promote tourism. great job.happy travels!
I, as a Burmese, have never been to Bangan.. thank you for these beautiful videos and introduce Myanmar to other parts of the world.. I really appreciate for your guys’ effort.. thank you so much.. stay safe..
I've just started watching your vids and one thing I like about them is that there is no swearing. I'm old, so thank you for your respect to your viewers and of course yourselves.
We visited Bagan in January and it is by far the best place we have ever gone. You guys did a fantastic job of capturing the magic of it. We rented the ebikes as well and even though there are pagodas every where you look, they never get old!!! We lucked out and met a local at a pagoda and he showed us a super secret staircase for sunset there were only maybe 10 people up there! Just magical!
My motivation to study for exams is watching your videos during my breaks! Seriously, the editing and drone footage is simply surreal and professional!! You guys deserve more views! Keep doing what you guys do best!! :)
You guys need to get these to the tourist boards these are beautiful showing their country it will make us all want to visit. Your videos are just spectacular each one I would never even look at visiting but I have now read more About this country in the past weeks and loving the beauty of the people. You guys are great ambassadors for travel. Thank you love from Toronto Canada 🇨🇦
I travelled to Thailand last year and was told to come back and go to Myanmar, now I can see why...😍 Apparently this is what Thailand use to be like before it became very touristy
Watching your old videos, used to be so simple, few talks and nice shots of the place and that’s it. Now you guys are doing so many challenges, you’ve come very long way.
I love waking up to notifications that Kara has uploaded a new video. Starts my day off right. Nate was cracking me up doing the Fred Flinstone peddle on that bike!
Y’all are getting so close to 200,000. I know this is kinda crazy but watching your vlogs has really changed my perspective on a lot of things and I can’t wait to someday see some of these places in person. God bless💜
We just started to travel! We will be in Myanmar in few months and can’t wait to see Bagan 😍 amazing vlog! Wish our was that good like yours ❤️ maybe one day!
Hey guys, a stupa and pagoda is essentially the same thing different words which refers to the pointy cone structures that you cannot enter, a temple is the religious buildings that you can enter, and the whole structural religious complex is called a monastary which is where the monks stay in and has both temples and pagodas and other buildings.
Ill be honest I have never wanted to go to India, but I also never wanted to go to Myanmar. The difference, I still dont want to go to India after see yalls videos.....but Myanmar.....holy hell, that place looks AWESOME, its now on the bucket list because of you guys.....Thanks!
Bagan is an ancient city in central Myanmar (formerly Burma), southwest of Mandalay. Standing on the eastern banks of the Ayeyarwady River, it’s known for the Bagan Archaeological Area, where more than 2,000 Buddhist monuments tower over green plains. Holy sites around Old Bagan include ornate Ananda Temple, built in 1091 and topped with a golden stupa. Nearby is the vast 12th-century Dhammayangyi Temple. Also in Old Bagan lie intricately carved Thatbyinnyu, one of the city’s tallest temples, and the huge Hindi temple Nathlaung Kyaung. The riverside Bagan Archaeological Museum exhibits sacred artifacts. Shwezigon Pagoda, also set along the meandering Ayeyarwady River, is a gilded temple dating back to the 11th century. Between the museum and the pagoda, Htilominlo Temple rises dramatically above the trees, while red-stone Sulamani Temple contains painted Buddha statues. New Bagan and Nyaung-U are modern settlements close to the monuments. Southeast of Bagan, Mt. Popa National Park is home to an extinct volcano.
I love the city there is so beautiful place to go for holiday by the beaches is nice to the food is cheap as well love to watch you both enjoy your holiday thank you for sharing .
I don't know if it's you guys or the locations you're hitting, but your videos are just getting more and more impressive! That drone footage...wow. Glad you found the drone!!
You guys! Every vlog you create is amazing but I don't know what it was about this one... the way it's filmed, edited.. the sounds. It's really well done 👌. I also can still not believe how many temples there are. - Trevor
Between the eleventh and thirteenth centuries, more than ten thousands pagodas, temples, and monasteries were built over a 67 square kilometer area around the city. Over two thousand of them remain, and some are in pretty good condition, considering their age and the two large earthquakes (1975 and 2016) that have hit the area in recent times.
Hey Kara and Nate, next time when you guys visit India, please come to South India. It has lots of temple, historical monuments, and abundant greenery(Western ghats). Madurai Meenakshi Temple, Srinrangapatana, Hampi, Golkonda Fort, Padmanabhapuram Palace, Mysore Palace, Bijapur. (Places spread across South India)
Yesterday I had a bit of vertigo and the Dr told me no screen time for 48 hrs. I was so bummed. Today I am feeling a bit better so I had to get me my Kara and Nate fix.....Your videos are so cool. Love your happy vibes. BTW, noticing you are at 193K subs!!! I predict a future travel show in the making.
Wow, I think the cinematography on this one beats the rest by a big margin. The whole vlog fit so well, it is like cotton candy melting in your mouth. Awesome stuff guys, lots and lots of love
The architecture of temples in Myanmar is very much same as architecture of North Indian Temples and the bullcarts are also used in rural India for transportation.
it was so funny in the bloopers with the transition of kara having to sneeze and goes straight to the goats. you guys are so amazing i love watching your videos keep up the great work
I love hearing the difference between Temples, Stupas and Pagaodas. So interesting!! And no matter how many times I hear them, goats make the funniest sounds ever for an animal. They are hilarious and I laugh every.single.time. 😂😂😂
