Thanks for the comment! Awesome that you snagged one of the last SpeedyBee F405 Wings in stock. NewBeeDrone knows what's up! Putting it in a ZOHD Talon long-range wing is a wicked idea! Don't forget to share your epic flights and any tips you pick up along the way. Cheers, and happy flying,!

Got mine a few days ago, after being on the waiting list for a few weeks. I am excited about the features it provides for the price and I am curious to see the quality of the FC in "real world" conditions.

Would love to see a build video using this stack on the Atomrc Dolphin.

Sadly ordered mine to late so i have to wait for a while, but i am excited. Either going to put it into my vtail or my wing not sure yet

I'm sorry to hear that you have to wait for your order to arrive, but I'm glad to hear that you're excited about it! Installing a new component like a flight controller can be a fun and rewarding project.
Choosing between installing it in a vtail or wing configuration will depend on your personal preferences and the specifications of your aircraft. A vtail configuration can provide more maneuverability and control, while a wing configuration can provide greater stability and lift.
Consider your flying style, the type of flying you plan on doing, and the characteristics of your aircraft when deciding which configuration to use. Additionally, be sure to carefully read the documentation for the flight controller and follow any installation and setup instructions to ensure safe and proper operation.

I'm lucky, I got mine direct from SpeedyBee. I wonder if they knew how popular it would be?

Hello Whirly, How can you get the black box data from the SD without having to remove it?

    • @WhirlyBloke
      @WhirlyBloke  Рік тому

Thanks for watching my video and I appreciate your comment.
To access the black box data from the SD card without physically removing it, you have a couple of options:
      1. **Using the SpeedyBee App:** Install the app on your phone or tablet, power up the plane and connect using bluetooth/wifi. Navigate to the "Blackbox" section in the app, where you’ll should see an option to download or view the black box logs stored on the SD card. You can choose to download them or analyse them directly in the app.
      2. **Using a USB-C Extension Cable:** Another option is to use the included USB-C extension cable. Just make sure the USB connector is easy to get to when you build the plane. Connect a USB-C cable between this and your computer. Then use Betaflight or INAV configurator to download the logs as normal.
Both methods provide convenient ways to access the black box data without physically removing the SD card. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Splendid! A work of art for a brilliant price! Do you build/ fly fixed wing aircraft as well?

For the life of me, I can't understand why Manufacturers don't have a website that shows what you show us. Maybe it is a start of something new, where you mouse over a Port and it highlights a Camera or GPS, Motor or ESC. Gone is the language barrier. thanks for the vid btw.

Although it looks great, many older UHF systems (433MHz) designed for long range use PPM. If iNav would reinstate this protocol I imagine it would encourage many to make the switch.

INAV monitor what features are being used and the maintainers do periodically remove features that are no longer or rarely being actively installed.

Pretty sure there’s people workin on 433 ELRS. Other then that, I recommend to switch to elrs. Older 433 protocols do get removed for reasons
