Ive watched numerous welders. No bashing them because they are great, much respect to them, but to see someone jump between so many different skills and materials and the outcome looks like you do it every single day. You make this stuff look easy. Absolutely incredible to watch!
IC Weld, Cutting Edge Engineering and On Fire Welding are the best channels I've seen for guys that like to get their hands dirty. Appreciate the info u share. Those other two channels are top notch as is this one!
Wow Greg what an amazing truck. I've been watching your videos for a while now and have been amazed at what you and your service trucks can achieve. Thank you for showing off the Kenworth, it was worth the wait. Take care pal, keep the content coming!
Thanks for taking the time for great truck tour!! Very nice truck & you’ve put a lot of time, effort, into customizing everything. Great to see how organized you keep everything. Been following your channel for a while, always enjoy all videos you do. I think the wildest one was you were welding a leaking fuel tank. Thanks for sharing all different things you do.
If you can’t be trusted to do the small stuff (like keep your tools organized), how can you be trusted to do the big stuff. Easily the most organized, well thought out and complete work truck I have ever seen. A true professional!
Well Greg, I suppose this is the nicest and most well equipped welding rig I’ve ever seen. I am one who believes that organization really increases productivity, and is so much safer also. Kudos on a fine rig, and well equipped for field work. Being as I am near retirement, and hope to do a side hustle, I hope to be able to set up a rig for what I plan to do, that works well for me. I really appreciate you making these videos…they are the best on youtube IMO. Blessings!
Oh Sure, a freaking truck tour. I cannot believe I just watched a 50 minute video on your truck.! I was completely fascinated with everything that is on that truck and how much is on it… It actually took that length of time to glaze over everything without going into fine detail. Never dull moment with “On Fire Welding!
Fireball Tool makes some amazing stuff for fabricators man. Dude has an awesome channel that shows his whole process of inventing and making the tools he sells and the reasoning behind why he makes things the way he does. Really smart dude.
this will give people an idea of just how prepared you are to tackle anything that comes you way in the filed, and maybe they will under stand how much $$$ you have invested so you can be efficient with your time. Great video.
I am surprised you don't have a small rod oven on board. Humidity kills rods much faster than most people think. You have a very nice setup it shows that you really took the time to find the best layout for your needs.
Plumber watching from Scotland. Done service work in the field from a van I liked to keep organized but this is a whole other level. Like an Aladdin's cave for a tool junkie. Loved the reel bay and starter switches 👌. Lots of thought and work gone into getting everything set up just how you like it. Appreciate the tour looking forward to more videos. Cheers
It’s 1:18am … stayed up for this one. Amazing! If you’re in the boonies, you need it. It’s the difference of being able to finish a job in one day. The pros have what they need in their truck.
Holy Moly that's a service truck very organized and a home for everything, people joke about expensive snap on tools but working on harleys for 10 years it is the only thing that did last or held up when you use them 100 times a day !!
Some serious money in that truck! Very organized I love it wish my truck was bigger but I'm sure you feel the same way there's just never enough room lol
Very nicely equipped service rig! Great layout of tools and equipment. I didn't see gear pullers and bearing splitters but I'm sure they were in there somewhere. Love all the utility lines -air, power, etc - plumbed out to spools and ready to go. I like having an assortment of 1-6" long aluminum flat bar scraps from 1/8" x 3/4" up to 3/4" x 1 1/2" on hand for clamping and fitting as well as some flat sheet shims from 1/16 down to .030. Will have to tune into more of your channel and watch you work a few jobs to see the rig in action. Also look forward to seeing a mini lathe mounted up there on top. Could see that being very useful.
Hi Greg, thank you for taking the time to do a Service Truck tour. A couple of things occurred to me that you might want to consider. Labelling for every drawer and cupboard and have a list on the inside of each door. Secondly, picnic rugs or ground sheets to lay out beneath each cupboard so that as you are going through things and having to pull them out to get to what's at the back, you can put the items down onto the ground sheet to firstly stop them from getting lost or misplaced and secondly to keep all of the boxes and bags as clean as possible so that you aren't getting as much dirt or mud or tip muck inside your cupboards. It's a lot easier to just hose down a ground sheet than it is to clean individual tool boxes. On the subject of a mini lathe, from what I have seen, the majority of mini lathes are not worth considering for industrial applications. You would probably have to look at a smaller standard lathe, but would that be strong enough for the kinds of steels that you work with? Then there is the question of protecting the lathe from the elements and from travel vibrations and jolts? Your call. I also had a question about the void space under the upper deck. Could that space be used for storing your 'get out of jail' supplies of steel and cribbing timbers? Mark from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 Carpenter and sometime welder.
Greg, I would have expected no less. The ultimate frustration on a job, is knowing you have it back at the shop. You've addressed the needs for the types of work you do and you've stocked your truck to cover those jobs.
Outstanding 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Only things I'd add: -12x40-ish bench lathe up top, and perhaps a small mill -Selection of threaded rod -Heavy welding table that fits in the bed you can hoist out when you need it And maybe a nice 30 foot camper to pull behind it because I'd wanna live next to that truck. 😀 Seriously man.. that's basically a whole metal shop on wheels. Well done.
I enjoy your videos. You are very talented and a true craftsman. If a subscriber understands welding and fabrication you give great tips. I have learned several things from your videos. Keep them coming 👍
America is precious This is a serious bit of kit I really like your custom build ,the crane is an amazing feature. It's a mobile shop and a damn good one .
WOW! Well thought out. Well laid out. With room to expand. And yet I know there is always something you'll need that you don't have with you at that moment. Such is life. Well done!
Awesome truck! I used to be a truck upfitter and this would definitely be a more complex build- id estimate between and the cabinets wiring, hoses etc it would probably take me around 3 weeks of labor to go from bare standard truck to all the cabinets crane and everything all done and rolling. Very cool stuff!
Awesome truck tour your truck is very well set up for your kind of work. I have a Stellar service body on my work truck and love it. I also dislike how the the cabinet handles hit the other door when they are both open, so what I do after opening up the door is I fold the handle down in the unlatched position and it still allows you to close the doors. Thank you for taking the time to show us a look into your world.
I don’t weld nor anything that approaches the level of what you do so why do I subscribe to your channel, it’s easy: I enjoy a mind that problem solves and you do it extremely well. I can see that the reason you have the variety of tools and a truck that is equipped the way it is comes from trial after trial after trial to find the right ecosystem of equipment that works for you. Kudos to you.
Very interesting and a very well equipped truck to tack out in the field and wanting for hardly nothing, there's alway's something you will need you don't have but you have most everything you need for a hard day's work, thanks for the truck tour video very very interesting to watch.
Hell of a rig. Makes my truck look like a little weenie 😂 we obviously do very different kind of work but that is one sweet rig. Gave me some good ideas on what else i should carry so thanks 👍
This is a money making tool and this took hard work planning and knowledge of your trade to aquire your truck thumbs up for your efforts and resolve too see it through good luck to you and your truck
You need an escort whenever you drive that truck. With all the money you have just in tools and equipment is more than most armored cars carry in them today then the cost of the truck on top of all that. Drive safely and install a tracking device. I don't remember seeing a fire extinguisher, bigger in this case is better. Very nicely done. 👍👍 also, if you do tire service, you should have an air cannon for sealing the bead on tires. But, I didn't see tire spoons so I'm guessing you don't do tires. Also, no line boring machine for excavator pin work.
Nice kenworth, thanks for the detailed tour. I do like the idea of marking your tools to avoid theft and making sure the right tools gose in the right place. Take care as always, much love from Austraila :)
Call me crazy but I’m setting up a 2005 Mack sleeper for my service truck pulling a lowboy. I’m putting a 72 inch harbor freight and other sizes in the sleeper. That way if I need to take a blade off a dozer or fab and weld a mud flap bracket or replace a bad wheel seal , I can do it. Like you said, packing up everything to run around town looking for something you forgot, sucks!
at 46:12 if you hold the can upside down and give it a quick spray (until it clears) before putting it away it should keep it from clogging / drying out. i do that wil all mypaint and 3M spray glue cans and it keep the tips from getting messed up
Absolutely the best work truck on the planet. While watching some of your field videos where you're on the ground and looking at your truck, I was wondering if you had an on board shower! your future plans to add a water tank would be great when you get dusty. Dude is bad ass.
Have to agree with you. Good shit, I am def a new sub and will be checking out your stuff. Keep up the videos man this is good shit
IC Weld, Cutting Edge Engineering and On Fire Welding are the best channels I've seen for guys that like to get their hands dirty. Appreciate the info u share. Those other two channels are top notch as is this one!
Couldn't agree more! I've learned a ton from these guys!
Wow Greg what an amazing truck. I've been watching your videos for a while now and have been amazed at what you and your service trucks can achieve. Thank you for showing off the Kenworth, it was worth the wait. Take care pal, keep the content coming!
I don't know if I am more impressed by the contents of your truck, or by the fact that you know where everything is!

Just bought my service truck 2 days ago. This video is exactly what I needed. Great truck!
I like the flag hung from the crane at the end. Nice little detail :)
this will give people an idea of just how prepared you are to tackle anything that comes you way in the filed, and maybe they will under stand how much $$$ you have invested so you can be efficient with your time. Great video.

I hardly ever use rods. So no need for that.

You appear to be quite well equipped
I appreciate you as you are an excellent teacher that goes to your designed career

Thank you for sharing. You buy the best. The old saying only a rich man can afford cheap tools.
Nice rig !! Every available space used & could always use more. Thanks for the tour
Got damn that’s impressive. I’m in the process of specking out a CNC shop. I know how much work goes into getting something like that sorted.
Jesus that's an impressive inventory of equipment ,initial outlay must have been huge between the truck and the tooling .Awesome Greg

You have some great suggestions! I was already thinking labels for all the drawers. The mini lathe would be for light use anyway.
Greg, I would have expected no less. The ultimate frustration on a job, is knowing you have it back at the shop. You've addressed the needs for the types of work you do and you've stocked your truck to cover those jobs.

It's a mobile shop and a damn good one .
WOW! Number 1! First time! Very informative and entertaining! I. C. Weld would be envious! LOL Take care!
WOW! Well thought out. Well laid out. With room to expand. And yet I know there is always something you'll need that you don't have with you at that moment. Such is life. Well done!
America needs more people with your knowledge and ability, you are good sir 👍
Great setup and so impressed by how clean and well organized it all is.
Looks like you turn some wrenches too! Very nice truck man!
Excellent video, superb truck! Thanks for the tour! I’m not a welder (I’m an automotive guy)- I raise a glass to your skills. 👍🏼🇺🇸
Awesome truck! Very impressive explanation of your work truck! Truly amazing set up! Enjoy it very much! Thanks for the tour! 👌👍
Coffees on ,brother!! Great walkabout! Cheers!;-)!
That's a bad ass setup!! I'm a journeyman union millwright and I also prefer only USA made tools & rigging equipment! God bless you brother!
Impressive. Probably the nicest service truck I have seen. Us tool guys are drooling right now. ha.
Holy shit everyone’s dream tool chest on wheels ,beautiful set up mate

Beautiful truck! You've got a beautiful property as well.
Nice tool box on wels!
Love the truck and the dogs
It will take a whole lot of work to pay for all of that! Very Nice rig! 👍
Great truck the envy of every welder takes a lot of work to keep it going nice job

Very nice set up you really do have an entire shop on there . I’m a mobile mechanic by trade as well and I really enjoy your channel.
That's the workshop to take with you, only the coffee vending machine is missing...
😂👍👍👍
Thanks for the tour! AWESOME!
Congratulations on the truck that enjoyed tools, enjoy it with health friend!!!
Color me impressed! Thanks so much for the tour, Greg. Hope you and your family have a Happy Fourth!

Greg....you da Man...thank you so much, Paul over in Florida......
great video!
Awesome Greg!! I wish I could get my truck organized like that!! That’s the only way to be profitable!! Thanks again, Vic!!!
Thank you for sharing! Very nice well planned out setup.
Thank you! This was very cool to see. Definitely inspirational. It’s amazing how much capability you can pack into this truck, even though it’s huge.
Great tour! I shutter to think how much you have invested in the truck and its contents. 😱
This is a money making tool and this took hard work planning and knowledge of your trade to aquire your truck thumbs up for your efforts and resolve too see it through good luck to you and your truck
That's the nicest welding rig service truck i have seen. Big blue 600 air pack wow. Bought the equivalent at Harbor Freight just yesterday. 😆
440👍's up on fire welding thank you for sharing
I shouldn’t be hating but I am!!!! Love your truck and set up!!!! You’re basically a one stop shop on wheels!!!!

Very nice, very American. Cheers from Germany!
Love the organization. awesome videos
You more equipment and supplies than more stores! Really nice setup!
Nice setup thank you for sharing
Nice kenworth, thanks for the detailed tour. I do like the idea of marking your tools to avoid theft and making sure the right tools gose in the right place. Take care as always, much love from Austraila :)
Man I don't know how much they pay for these kinds of welds you do but the gadgets speak top-tier. Subscribing to learn more cus I'm impressed.
👍. Nice job on the service truck...fireball tool... square

Can’t wait to see you and your truck in town some day!
Nice truck. Thanks for the tour.
That was the most insane truck tour I've ever seen, bro got a small mobile workshop. I wonder how much this truck weighs. Great video!
29,000 lbs
@@OFW Geez
you looked like a kid in your own candy store haha. sweet ride bro!
Awesome tour ! I thought I was organized 👍
Well done great set up ! Thanks for sharing 👍
Nice set up, yet I did not see one Bandaid. If you do ever add a mini lathe you would definitely need a few more drawers, EXCELLENT IDEA THOUGH!
There is 3 first aid kits on the truck.
Quite the set up
at 46:12 if you hold the can upside down and give it a quick spray (until it clears) before putting it away it should keep it from clogging / drying out. i do that wil all mypaint and 3M spray glue cans and it keep the tips from getting messed up
I tried that. Doesn’t work as well as other cans.
Absolutely the best work truck on the planet. While watching some of your field videos where you're on the ground and looking at your truck, I was wondering if you had an on board shower!
your future plans to add a water tank would be great when you get dusty. Add a commode and you'll be able to live off grid LOL! Great truck and your approach to working in the field. Look forward to more videos.
Well prepared professional Bad A..!!!! Hell Yeah!!!!
Very well equip service vehicle. Watch your videos and very good information.
You were talking about adding a pressure washer up on top, do you want to look at the Hotsy brand units that have a diesel heater. When you’re working on heavy equipment and tractors a lot it sure is nice to have hot water to be able to get all the grease and nastiness off of something you might be trying to Weld. As for a water tank I would say you could probably get by with a couple of 55 gallon drums plumbed together in the bed and a boost pump. Since you’re not really a pressure washing contractor and you would just be washing down a piece of equipment to work on it, 100 gallons of water should be plenty at 4 1/2 gallons a minute, that would give you about 20 minutes of wash time. I would set up a fill valve at ground level to allow me to fill for my customers water supply or to just run straight from their water faucet as well.
There is nobody here in the UK with kit like yours. Maybe open a branch over here for large amounts £. Great video's
Would be great if you can give a ballpark figure for a rig like yours. Also what price would you consider too much.
Finally!!! thanks a mil for this!
Always a pleasure watch your video, i learn a lot and you share very well, thank you 👍👍👍👍
