"Weird how all my old cases keep repeating themselves, eh Watson."
Don't you think it's hilarious that Holmes is not one bit in awe that he is on the moon?
Holmes got caught up on current events pretty fast in the first episode. He's also not the type to let something like travelling to the moon distract him from a case. Hell, he didn't even acknowledge heliocentrism for a long time just because it was never relevant to his line of work.
He probably read Jules Verne.
Surprisingly, I like this incarnation of Holmes
The perfect amount of camp
Having read all the Sherlock Holmes books, this is fun to watch.
Quite a scare at the start, and on the moon! Good stuff w/Beth's rescue after, then Sherlock's impressive investigating.
Wow, the robotic hound was tough. I like the faceoff w/the clone, and the rescue of the kids. That teamwork w/the finale, including Watson's tape!
Nice try on sending the clone to jail. Great ep.
omg I used to watch this series when I was a kid, I know Sherlock for the first time because of this cartoon.. I really love this cartoon ^^
Wieke Wepepe its on qubo its amazing just discovered it
Found this show on qubo around 4 or 5 years ago, it was great
The character design of Holmes reminds me of David Tennant.
same
True
Gotta love David tennant
I think they should totally get him to voice Sherlock if this show ever gets remade in animation obviously
Legitimately thought that the woman said at the start that 'all that remains was their shredded faces' - thought Christ that's dark for a kid's show!
lot of "kids" show use to be pretty "dark" back in the 90's, Disney use to have a show called "So weird" season 3 of it was suppose to be about the girl having to go to hell and try to save her father but was scraped even changed the main girl out (Presumable because she had huge tits for her age LOL) (in 2000) in favour of them "dumbing" down all there shows and inserting random singing into everything they could, main girl was just replace with some random blonde that could sing and the whole plot/story of the last 2 season were wipe out entirely Pre 2000 Disney is best Disney everything after is just "meh"
Sherlock is so brilliant, he surpasses the intellect of humanity even 200 years later. He's even learned about the environmental physics of space and can even use technology 200 years more advanced than anything that was available in his time as if he grew up with it.
Well Sherlock Holmes was dead for more than 2 centuries and he needs to learn and adapt to the new era that is far advanced than in his time. I’m surprise he is not struggling to keep up with the new ways but I can’t be surprise since it is “THE” Sherlock Holmes of course unlike a certain hero who was trapped in ice since world war 2 who which is struggling to keep up. Don’t get me wrong I love Captain America as well.
@@QuincyVollstandig it’s possible Sherlock Holmes saw the future as a spirit in heaven and when god told him he would be resurrected to protect new London in the 22nd Century he was well prepared after seeing his future. sounds like a cool theory I may add.
@@profesae then how come we seen him question things if he saw the future as a spirit
In the first episode after he was revived he got a speed learning headset to catch him up.
The original story made me a loyal Sherlock Holmes fan. This story is just as good.
This show is so wild! I love it.
The way Moriarty clone feeling was hurt when lestrade called him a clone head as she pull her hand away from him!
I think that the clone might have a crush on her! 😹
Enough of the negative comments please. This show was great! I don't care what anyone else says. It was great.
If you did not care what anyone else said, you wouldn't be so offended by the negative comments toward the show. Therefore, your comment is a contradiction. Courtesy of a witless fan.
I agree with you. I liked this show alot and watch it on UA-cam. I like the story of Sherlock Holmes and always have.
I would have loved this toon as a kid, but as a partime adult, this show definitely has solid moments for what it is; and is hilariously corney but mostly in a good kind of way given the context of the show.
It is horrible. Deal with it.
Michele Mulready I watched this along with Totally Spies, Kirby Right Back at Ya, and etc. it’s great to find someone who loves this show as much as I do
I think I like this show more now as an adult than I did as a kid 😄 cool 👍
I love Holmes features and the way hes drawn. And the voice is perfect
Thanks so much for up loading this classic series. I feel sorry for holmes as though he's made new friends with people of the future, he's the only one of his own century whos been allowed to be bought back. Thanks so much once again :D
This is becoming a guilty pleasure...
this series catches the doyle characters so well.
These are from 1999…. Man, I wonder how I missed these as a kid…. Oh! It was pretty much a UK thing I think? Did they come to The USA? I wonder. Oh, and yeahhhhh… 1999… all of us thinking Earth had enough of us all Y2K because everyone’s silly computer didn’t recognize everything that has happened simply isn’t what happened today.
“Oh no! There’s a flight that took off in 1999, 2 hours ago! How can it land 100 years ago?! Planes won’t exist for 11 years! Get The Wright Brothers on the phone!”
‘Sir, they’re dead! What is going on?! I wish we could party like 1999! Noooo!’
Suddenly all jets turn into hot air balloons and the Industrial Age is thriving.
Anyway, wish I had this as a kid. Plus in 1999 I was just turning 31. Fun series so far.
I was not so shure first, but this series is really nice! The wording of the time of sherlock holmes used in a future time. I just love it! Thank you very much for sharing!
Thank you for these episodes!
That's a fascinating angle; I like it.
I personally think Holmes considers motives in terms of a series of factors that narrow down possibilities of action taken.
i.e. The two met at the right time, the right place, under the right set of circumstances. Considering their complimentary personalities and lives, it's only natural they would develop feelings and wish to protect said person by any means necessary--even murder.
So, love can be "logical" when you deal with people in an impersonal way.
Its been a long time I haven't seen the show my favorite show
he's a robot that downloaded watson's journals then took on watson's personality
One Of My Favorite Episodes Of This Series.
Just saw sherlock holmes 2 the one with robert downey jr. And i felt like watching this show right after. Its cool how moriarty is in the movie too
2:51 MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
Great show ty
because they brought him back to life and they had preserved his body in honey, but watson's had been lost to the processes of time
At 13:00 Moriarty is like a greetings homes and all calm and everything but the inspector had to just get him mad and start fighting Sherlock Holmes could just shake his hand and then his pull hand to the side and then trip him and then shooting with that 22 centurie gun and that's it but noo
Pavel Lutsik when else would you have suggested the events explained
Chris hill which one
I've been looking forward to this episode! :)
So Moriarty is revealed to be a clone and his minion (ugly Goblin) is the one responisble of creating Moriarty, who though he could used the clone to work for him but instead he's working for the clone. I do wished I get more information on the series from Wiki Fandom so I can understand the characters more.
11:51 Doom hahahahahahahha!
The funny fact is watching Lestrade just like "Am i shipping a robot with a man of more than 200 years old?"
Sherlock Holmes revived in the 22nd Century to solve a crime wave? What’s next, Erwin Rommel being revived to help mankind fight off an alien invasion?
Shush, Disney will hear you!
Stop it at 15:02. Moriarty is like O.O What just happened?
Nine years later and I find this. Thanks for the laugh!
What a great show!!!
umm, I thought that Sherlock explained it earlier, and if you were listening you might have hear how the so called "howl" was being transmitted via satellite to the emergency broadcast channel for the lunar station.... Meaning it was being transmitted by radio waves to the station.
Sherlock Holmes in a space suit... NOW I've seen everything!
that women is so brave. good job beth
indeed. i didn't really take to the 22nd century Lestrade...i just feel she's too american for Sherlock. if she had a cockney accent (or any british accent for that matter), i'd be ok with her erratic NYPD Blue personality
Amazing case.
while all this happens. Mr Moston is still sleeping in the moon. for the future episode
Damm Sherlock has like zero culture shock for someone who has woken up in the future.
zomgsignupnow 1st ep u watched yet?
Holmes is nothing if not adaptable.
he originally was simply a law enforcment robot but then after sherlock was revived they didnt want him to follow them around so they told him to read the original Watsons journals and he began to beleive he was watson.
Because who would bring Watson back to life?
It's actually cool in a later episode.
that's not the real Watson its a robot that scaned the real Watson's journal so it thinks like Watson and it has a device on him that makes him look like Watson and the name came from the female detective
True...XD My brain was half asleep when I replied earlier. I suppose what I meant to say I'm not a fan of how Lestrade is played. XD
i know, they explained that. Holmes stated that and deduced it had to be one of the speaker systems within the resort.
This was my fav show growin up
They mentioned that, and explained that the howls are from a satellite broadcast.
Sherlock said the same thing, and I agree. However you must remember this is a cartoon. And honestly, if a man can be brought back to life, what's to say sound can't be heard in space? :)
space would like to speak to you.
I like the intro
for someone from the 19th century, Holmes sure has got the hang of 22nd century tech! i expected at least some head scratching
flashstudiosguy watch first ep
Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century is supposedly on Paramount+ 🤦♂️
7:44 can y'all read that? I think it keeps saying he and not she...
But been a cartoonist write misprint
there is a broadcast system and each of the suits may have a com link if you are to play a noise over any of those systems you can create sound in a void
Sherlock Holmes in Year 2108 to 2192 😮
A small part of me can't help but wonder how Lestrade became an inspector, shes completely clueless at times...But at the same time it annoys me that she is portrayed this way, she just seems to..brunt and harsh and at times incompetent.
Yeah agreed but she great at her job arresting criminals
Lunar hound? a fucking Lunar hound? how is.....why would anyone ever think that? Did the people who settled on the moon get it from the UAC after they opened the hell portal on mars?
Memories
the tape thing is so low tech and 20 century
Except you can't get memories and skill out of DNA.
Sorry for the (extremely) late reply, but I had also thought about this and find it interesting. The way I figure it, Moriarty's clone was (probably) essentially brainwashed and mentally manipulated by Fenwick into having the same personality and (false) memories. As for skill, I think that would just come from whatever training and exercises were done to develop him into "Moriarty." Maybe Fenwick even figured like you did and thought the man wouldn't be quite as capable as the original, but he was proven wrong, hence Moriarty becoming the boss.
(thats why its broadcasted into their suits for emergency stuffs :P)
No, I mean I watched them all as a child.
I suppose making him a robot makes him more "useful", but I think it doesn't fit the traditional role Sir Arthur Conan Doyle intended for Watson. That's all. I think making Holmes a robot for this little reboot would have been more logical...
he does show small signs here and there but asides form that,he's pretty much ok
Holmes even mentions that around 3:56.
A detective from 19th century... knows more about computer that I do??
I'm not sure if i'm going insane but, I think i heard Lord Voldemort on the computer... o_o
wait that far in the future and they don't have mag boots on space suits what
did anyone hear the life pod's computer voice? and does anyone else think it was the same person who did the computer for the star trek computers?
he's the guy who opened jurassic park in the movie of the same name.
Do you have the intro in here?
not to be a nerd, but sound cannot be heard in space due to absence of transmitting medium, the "howls" of the lunar wolf cannot not be heard
Because it's the future!
2018 Vietnam
He is a robot cause their in the 22nd century Waston died 200 years ago so they made a robot of him
I think the robot makes it inside of his body, for some unknown reason.
A wizard did it
More than likely his body decayed when he was buried. So there wasn't anything to resurrect in the reviving process.
Moriarty was cloned.
In op mix heritage
Doggy :3 🐺🐺🐺
A, of course!!...But wait, why isn't Sherlock a robot, too, then?....
See the last two episodes.
why is there so much braided rope in the 22 century?
That is true, but in my mind she portrayed far to brunt....but that's just me...
Those are very short teenagers....
At least I don't need a clone
I am an original as well as other reasons
Clearly the "howls" were more radio broadcasts that the people of the 22th Century are a bit dumb when it comes to how space works or something.
Obviously, Lastde, (sorry if I mispelled) doesn't like taking a backseat to anyone.
Yeah because she is responsible for holmes
99 on my missing things lik iop 12
because they can't find Watson's body
watson is more useful and stronger and smarter and this was the best they could get
Thats not Watson
And lure i use to hangout ip some person op like report ip they tricked and attempted to steal all i earned op on appearance op discrimination op ect
Why is Watson a robot?.... Just. Why?
The people of this era are totally dumb without thinking of propper ways to build a lunar colleny...
Robot wolf
In op carmen san ip op lop in sopopo
I have watched all the episodes. I just think it's a contrived plot device cooked up by a bunch of producers to seem "hip"
I understand why in terms of narrative, ten year old child. I simply don't understand how this furthers the plot or serves the character development.
